GENERAL GUIDELINES
► To start with each and everyone is required to create a separate account for all character profiles produced and accepted. The username ought to be the character’s name. Usernames can be altered under the ‘modify profile’ function.
► Signatures must not stretch the page and members are limited to two banners per signature. Signatures ought to reflect said member's character; unrelated graphics not permissible. Icons are to be no bigger than 100x200.
► There is not a maximum number of characters allowed per person. Members are required to maintain their various accounts, ensuring each character remains active; inactive accounts will be deleted during monthly activity checks.
► Character playbys are to be established celebrities only. Bad Moon Rising will not accept personal photos, popular individuals on Facebook, Myspace, Youtube, etc, or cartoon characters. Actors, musicians, and models are acceptable.
► In character posts are required to be at least 150 words or longer; excluding coding. In character posts containing less than the specified word count will be requested, by the staff, to be modified.
► Sentences are required to be coherent with correct punctuation and spelling. Chat speak is prohibited within in character posts and posts with numerous spelling errors will be flagged by the staff. Programs, such as Microsoft Word, are capable of correcting mistakes.
► Members are forbidden to god mod or power play. Those who are unfamiliar with the terminology are capable of seeking guidance from the staff.
► Liquid time is allowable.
► Bad Moon Rising is PG-13 and may deal with topics that are considered mature. However, members may not create threads with explicit nudity, sex, drugs, or graphic violence. According to Proboards TOS a forum with R rated content is prohibited.
► Deaths are permitted, although members are required to contact the admin beforehand. Those roleplaying a death ought to contemplate in advance the result of character death. Reviving characters proclaimed dead is prohibited as well as reincarnation—only acceptable by contributing to the universal plot.
► During the conception of your character’s history keep the word ‘realistic’ in mind. Physical and mental abuse is, unfortunately, a part of our world; however, the mistreated character is constantly overused.
► Members are able to roleplay as characters established in the Supernatural series. Age, orientation, appearance, personality, history, and playby must remain the same. ► Original characters are not permitted to be in anyway related to canon characters—only acceptable by contributing to the universal plot. Members may be as creative as they wish when conceiving an original character, although bans on various species and gender will take place if the ratio is unequal. Members are allowed to roleplay as either a human, angel, demon, reaper, ghost, shapeshifter, vampire, werewolf, deity (Greek, Egyptian, Norse, etc.) or various mythological beings.
