GREENLEAF, IDAHO
Jason was sitting at a table in the local diner and furiously rubbed his hands together to warm them up. It was pretty cold outside as a strong chilly wind has been hitting the city all day long. He had been pretty glad that both his jackets had done a well enough job to help keep out the chill from his bones. Now he was ready to finally get something in his stomach after his long morning of researching had manage to work up his appetite. It didn't seem to help that he could easily smell the aroma of other dishes in the establishment wafting around him which made his mouth water. He grabbed the menu off the table and flipped it open and began to scan down the laminated paper at his options for lunch.
As he read down the paper he could not help but notice how everything looked and sounded so delicious. Which meant to him that it was going to be a lot harder to choose what he was going to order now. So for the next few minuets he spent his time flipping back and forth between the pages of the menu until he narrowed down his choices to a few things. Which then also was shrunken down to his final decision for lunch for that day.
He decided to try and flag down a waitress, but as he had looked up to try and find on he had heard the soft jingle of the bells hanging over the door. Which signaled when a person entered exited the diner. He could not seem to help himself and briefly glanced up towards the door to see who had entered of left the diner just now.

Brosia was in a mood for pancakes mixed with Honey and Syrup which was the sweetest taste she ever had, humans these days had the strangest food compared to her people in Rome, she as lived out her for so long, she lost her accent and everything. The weather was pretty pleasant, she began twirling her rain jacket getting her hair soaked and wet but she didn’t care it was great weather compared to the hot summer where she came from, and those hot summers were just ridiculous, walking in the diner, she looked up to hear the chimes and began laughing and canting her head with them.
Opening the door again, it made a chime but this time people stared and she couldn’t help but giggle like an idiot and walk over to the bar table and sat there. Grabbing a menu, she looked at it and it all seemed her vision was blurred but the words that stuck out more was PANCAKES laughing a bit, she ordered them with her sweet voice and began taking off her scarf and fixing her wet hair a bit, before looking at all the sugars and peppers that were before her.
”Well this is a cute little set” laughing a bit before looking over to the man next to her, she smiled and waved then turned back looking at the napkins.

He watched for a moment as a woman with dark curly hair stepped through the door. For a moment it seemed that she was quite interested with the bells that were hanging over the door as she pushed the door a second time just to hear the noise which made her laugh. He stared at her with a quizzical look as he found her behavior quite odd. But then again he had seem much odder things in his life than rather eccentric people. Not wanting to seem rude or intrusive he lowered his gaze back down to his own table.
A moment later a waitress had appeared beside his table and warmly asked if she could possibly get him anything. Immediately he ordered a cup of ice cold soda to start with as he felt his energy lacking a bit. Despite the fact that it was completely freezing outside he liked his drinks cold no matter how the weather was outside. He then gave the waitress his order for their house special sandwich which according to the menu was suppose to be quite big. At that moment he felt as if he could eat a whole horse, as the saying went.
With a smile the waitress promised to get his drink and order out quick as she could and took his menu from him before disappearing over to the kitchen area of the diner.

Brosia hopped excitedly for her pancakes and when she prayed to the heavens for them to come they came and she began placing her butter on it, humming a little harmony not too happy because she wasn't quite sure if her curse killed people when she hummed happy too, she wasn't sure about singing only about the music and she didn't want to try it out because someone might die again. Laughing a bit, she placed honey and syrup on her pancakes and began chomping down on them like a cute anime character.
She looked over to the man that was drinking soda, she smiled and waved at him. She was wondering if he was friendly and would might want to make friends with her."Hello, I'm Ambrosia" smiling sweetly at him, her smile caught anyone's eyes.

Jason sat at the cracked and nicked diner table taking a moment to look out the window to check on the weather outside. It looked like it was still ugly as the edges of the window were looking a bit frosted and he turned his attention back onto his table. He reached into the deep inner pocket of one of the two jackets he was wearing to fight off the cold weather and produced a small little spiral notebook and a pen. Placing both items gently on the top of the table he flipped open the notebook and began flipping through the lined pages. He stopped at the last recent page that he had written in and began to rereading the entry and the clues that he had jotted down on the paper.
Just as he had reached the middle of the page when he noticed someone standing by the table and looked up quickly as he covered the pages of the notebook casually with his hands. The waitress who had taken his order stood there and gave him a smile as she placed his drink on the table and told him that she would be right out with his order in a few more minuets.

Brosia was particularly looking at the young gentlemen one seat away from her, he was awfully cute, actually attractive nicely built and he had amazing hair, she giggled and looked away blushing a bit before actually coming up with a conversation with him. Thousands of scenarios popped in her head and all of them with perfect, she crinkled her nose and looked at him, opening her mouth she completely froze, she couldn't say what she wanted to say until she panicked and blurted out the wrong words. "I like your hair!
Smacking her face with her hand and slamming it softly on the table where here food was, her hair blocked the sides of her face and spreaded amongst the area, she was horribly mortified right now.

Jason had been about to get back to his work when he had heard someone utter the words 'I like your hair.' He looked up to see where the voice had come from. For a moment he had expected to see someone standing beside his table, but it turned out to be the woman with dark hair sitting over at the counter top across the room. She had said it rather loudly so that he wasn't the only one to have heard the remark.
Even though she had been speaking to someone else he could not help but smile sheepishly as he had mistaken the compliment was directed at him. He was used to people saying things about his hair. Whether it was something nice or they were trying to get a rise out of him. Either way he usually took it in stride and forgot about it as the day rolled on. Seeing as the person was not talking to him he turned his attention back to his work.

She felt like a utter and complete idiot, she lifted up her sleeves like one of those funny cartoons popeyed the sailor man she remembered she was watching it this morning, she walked over and sat near him and turned to face him. She held out her hand and flash her sweet smile and couldn't help but blush and giggled."I know this is random but..Hi I am Ambrosia Chevalier and I would like to be your friend..." She believed that's how humans introduced each other.
She fiddle with her fingers and but then still held the other one up before turning her head away to stare off into space.

Jason was thrown quite off guard by the young woman's sudden appearance at his table and what came out of her mouth did not help at all. He was used to meeting new people but most of them talking to him for a bit before asking to be friends, hell a lot of the time they did not even ask he just agreed to hang out with them and maybe keep in touch. Though now a days it was a little harder for him to make new friends as he was always traveling across the country working jobs.
Most of the time the people that he did meet along the way usually did not want to see him again after he finished a job. But he would have felt bad about spurring the woman away after she had bothered to say hello to him.
"Uh..hi I'm Jason." he responded automatically after hearing her introduce herself.

She smiled with a cheery mouse squeak to go with it, she was very happy that she made a new friend at her time with the humans since she was so use to being with the other gods, or demi gods. Smiling she sat next to him and brought her plate over, his name was Jason like the Jason from the argonauts she giggled and started laughing to herself, e must of thought her to be slightly weird or crazy. That was in her nature to be very cheery.
"I'm a weirdo, sorry. Nice to meet you Jason, you seem bored or slightly worried about something" it wasn't her business but it was good to try and give people advice about certain things even though her life was based off of sad depressing music that made people cry compared to playing happy music that killed people.

"Well everyone's got their little quirk here and there." He told with a smile as she had mentioned that she must have been weird. Jason could recognize that she seemed to be a little on the socially awkward side. He was used to talking to people like that, as most people would ignore them for seeming so weird. But he knew that sometimes you just had to give people like that a little time before they opened up and let their true personality shine through.
When she mentioned that he seemed to worried about something he did his best to keep his face neutral. As he wanted to seem as normal as possible since the thing he was working on was usually something that weird-ed people out, and at the same made him look a bit crazy.
"I'm just working on a story." he told her as he usually posed as a journalist when he picked up a job. Most people were not afraid of reporters especially one for an extremely obscure magazine about the occult. Or at least that was the story he sold to people when he tried to question them.

As much as Brosia loved stories she didn't want to interfere with his thinking matter but it couldn't hurt on what the story was suppose to be about. Giggling, she smiled at him and wink and besides she couldn't help her self that a handsome man was before her and he was a writer. so romantic finding her voice, she stared at him once more. "May I ask what this story is about, or if you need ideas about it why won't you write it about the unnatural...."
Flashing her cute smile before finishing her pancakes and paying the waitress. She really wished she brought her guitar along she could of sung for the diner like she always did to show them that she was grateful, looking around she did find a stage maybe they did have an instrument of some sort to use.
