Casey felt his cheeks warm up at Luke's touch, fingers twitching until he gave into his urge to reach out and take his hand. It was a bold move but he erred on the side of reckless risk and chance.
"Starting off with saying I like long walks on the beach sounds a bit corny," Casey joked with a charming smile, "So I'll choose a different way to start. I'm a wilderness kinda guy. I could hike, fish, camp anytime. I love anything that gives me an adrenaline rush so amusement parks with roller coasters are a must." He winked with a cheeky grin. "My favorite food is lazagna. I love cookies and cream soda, comes with me having such a big sweet tooth. Adventures are my thing." He leaned back, taking another drink of his coffee.
"Anything else you'd like to know?" Casey couldn't help but rush.

Casey was perfect. It was the only coherent thought that Luke seemed to be able to come up with. So far he loved everything about him and he felt his pulse pick up with the fact that he had grabbed his hand. Luke had a lot a series of ideas for future dates pop up in his mind and he felt himself flush again. He could only hope that this was going to be more the just a one time thing. It felt like it would be thought.
"I find romantic walks on the beach to be a completely acceptable idea for a date"
Luke smiled at Casey, it was a hint at a future date and he wanted to see how Casey would react. Luke was pretty sure he was just as in to him as he was into Casey, but he had learned from experience that it's always better safe then sorry.
"The only other thing I'd like to know is how you got into hunting? We are both pretty young and I think we both potentially have interesting stories to tell."

Casey laughed, even more drawn to Luke. It seemed like everything he said just made Casey's stomach fill up with butterflies of excitement and attraction. He was the first man Casey had taken this much of an interest and he was very smooth-despite probably not even realizing it.
"I'd love to come up with a hundred different dates to go on with you," His smile grew and brightened, eyes shining.
When the topic of becoming a hunter came around Casey shrugged. He wasn't bothered by it anymore but it still wasn't something he usually talked about. "My mom was a hunter. She left the family to continue hunting 'cus my dad and brothers and sisters didn't know about it. I went looking for her and she ended up teaching me the trade. I just continued her work when she died. I figured I owed it to her and all the people who don't know about us." Casey smiled. "What about you? I'm sure you have a more interesting story about how you became a hunter."

Luke rubbed his thumb along Casey's hand sympathetically, he could imagine that was really hard and he couldn't really relate, both of his parents were alive and well and he couldn't picture it being any other way. He didn't want to picture it being any other way.
"I'm sorry that must have been hard"
Luke considered how to tell his own story. It wasn't an exciting one exactly, but it held a lot of meaning about how devoted his father had been to his best friends and how things had changed so drastically so quickly.
"My father was a hunter. His best friend was his partner and they kept in touch after everything was said and done and my dad started a family. His friends moved here to America and at one point he called for help, and we packed and moved here. When I was old enough I decided I wanted to get involved, my father was more then happy to teach me"
Luke smiled, thinking of his family. His heart seemed to clench slightly at the thought. He really did miss them.... He had to make his way home soon, not being around his little sister often times felt like a missing limb. She was young but they had been close.
"Anyways, I went on hunts with my father, and eventually started going on my own. It's been a part of me since"

Casey's smile grew wider, "It's a wonder we're going on a date right now. Hunting has been my life and main focus since she passed away. I'm not one for staying in towns for long so," He shrugged but appreciated Luke's sympathy and squeezed his hand, crinkling his nose with a smile. "I'm glad though. It's nice." It was more than nice but Casey was still a little flustered and couldn't really think of any articulate impressive words at the moment.
He leaned closer, resting his other arm on the table as he tilted his head to the side. "So tell me about your family. You seem really close to them." Casey was fascinated. He had loved his family and still did but even before they thought he was dead they had never been very talkative or in synch with each other. He had been close to his mother but now that she was gone that didn't really seem to count anymore.

Luke squeezed Casey's hand, his heart pounding at Casey's admission. He was on the same track of course, there were few places that he bothered staying in long, and when he did say it was mostly for the environment and not the people. This was nice though, and it was something he knew he could get used too. At the mention of his family Luke's smile widened.
"I really love my family, we have had our ups and downs and for a long time I was very bitter about moving away from Devon, but I really love them"
He paused wondering where to start. He really wanted Casey to meet them someday. If they progressed further into a steady relationship, it would be the first thing on his list. His mother really would love Casey.
"My mom is amazing, she's an incredible cook and she spoiled me as a child. My father is also great, he was strict at times and really tough with his training, but he made me who I am today and I love him for it. Then there's Emily, my favorite person in the world. She's my little sister and she is a cute little ball of energy. You would love her, she is fantastic"
He felt the familiar ache for his family again, but he also was very happy to be talking about them. It wasn't often that his conversation strayed into his personal life and he was so proud of the family that he came from and it really meant a lot to him that Casey was actually taking interest in them. So far Casey was shaping up to be perfect.

"Sounds like a great family," Casey smiled but felt a bit homesick. It had been years and years since he had seen his family and though it hurt inside he didn't want to put them into danger because they weren't hunters. A little twinge of jealousy blossomed in his heart but he stifled it.
"Tell me more about you then," He teasingly pushed his foot against Luke's, really enjoying flirting with him and wanting to play a little footsie. "You let me go on with a whole monologue of myself and didn't even mention your own likes and dislikes." This was more than fun, it was amazing. The attraction was very much there, the chemistry from their personalities just lit up the sparks even more.
Casey pursed his lips after asking that first question, wondering if it would be too forward to ask the question he really wanted to. "Soooo, I don't want to be rude so you can choose not to answer buuut, have you ever been with another man before?" It was a pertinent question, if a bit blunt and forward.

Luke smiled at Casey, appreciating that he actually wanted to know more about him. It had been awhile since someone had taken interest in him and he couldn't deny the thrill that it caused to shoot through him.
"Well, when it comes to hobbies I like basic things, driving around, horror movies and I am guilty of having a strong sweet tooth. I love the water and down in Raleigh we have a boat out in the lake behind my house that we used to take out during the summer"
There wasn't much else to tell that he could think of. The only other thing was how much he loved spending time with his family but Casey seemed to have already been able to get that from him. He didn't have to think much more on the subject though when Casey asked another question. This one caused his to frown, he didn't want to scare Casey away or anything.
"I have been" Honesty was the best policy. "I met a boy my senior year after we had moved here, we were together for two years, but we parted ways in the end."
He had loved him of course, but in the end it was better to part ways. It was his first real boyfriend and the last boyfriend that he had had since.

Casey's smile grew, "Sweet tooth? What's your favorite pick between ice cream, cookies, or cake?" It was a classic question and as silly as it was you would tell a lot about a person from their sweet tooth.
Another moment of thought and he made a noise of appreciation. "More questions then...what about your favorite food? Color? Oh! I have a great one...what turns you on?"
He nodded thoughtfully. He had been with a couple girls before though nothing as serious as the relationship Luke had had sounded. The second one had only been a couple months. "I've been with a girl before but never a guy...so if you know how the plumbing downstairs is supposed to work, I'll let you take the lead on that end." Casey winked with a coy little smile.
It would be interesting to learn that kind of stuff from Luke anyhow, considering how shy he was. Would he take the charge or would he shy away from it? He had the potential, that was for sure. He was shy but if Casey didn't know him and was observing him from across the room he would have only guessed that he was the strong silent type.

Luke grinned at Casey, the smile stretching up over his face and widening more then he would have thought possible. This was turning out to be one of the best dates that he had ever been on. It was simple, but Casey was funny and endearing and curious and Luke knew this was not going to be a one time thing.
"Chocolate chip cookies"
Was his first answer, cookies were one of his favorites, he was going make Casey the best cookies he could ever have at some point.
"Favorite food is probably pasta" He paused and his face flushed with the next question. He cursed his shyness once again. This wasn't something he needed to embarrassed about, but still he could feel his face turning red. He did allow himself a moment to come up with an answer, and he was curious to know what Casey's answer would be.
"I like being in control"
If possible he became even more red at the admission. As flushed as he was, he was pretty impressed with himself that he could actually admit that. He was feeling bold and he touched Casey's hand tightly in his own and leaned forward like he was sharing some kind of secret. In a sense he was. He wanted Casey to be comfortable, and to know what he knew what he was doing with this.
"There is so much I could show you"
His lips quirked up in what he hoped was a smirk, but more likely then not was just a goofy smile

Casey felt himself heat up, from his face all the way down to the tips of his toes. He flushed violently at Luke's admission. He could talk the talk but...he had never walked the walk before and having Luke admit he wanted control in the bedroom was an extreme turn on as well as something that made Casey's insides churn. Normally he would have felt embarrassed at the prospect of being weak in yet another way but to relinquish control to Luke seemed...sexy.
"You, y-you mean being on top? Ah, I...I see." He mumbled, the confident airs he usually put on sort of fading at that. He looked bashful, not really used to this and struggling not to blush even harder. "Oh...god... and you're seriously shy?" Casey squeaked, turned on and yet also embarrassed and turning shyer by the minute. It had been fine when he was the flirty bold one but as soon as Luke decided to take the reins and declare he liked being in control... it was like his world had shifted upside down...
"I wouldn't know how to do it a-anyway so...um...I guess...I mean that works."

Luke could feel an honest to God smirk forming on his face now. Casey was practically coming apart in front of him and for once he felt a small victory. He had been the one blushing like a 12 year old girl the entire night and it felt good to know that he had some effect on the other boy as well. At the same time however, he didn't want to overstep his boundaries.
"I know you are new at all of this, and I don't expect anything of you. I know that this is all probably new and scary and I respect that. I was in that position too"
It was drew, Luke had played the whole awkward virgin role and while he seriously doubted Casey lacked experience in the women department he knew that he was new to the whole idea of being a man. To some extent however Luke had never dealt with the same things that Casey had too. Luke had known he was gay for as long as he could remember, he had never been with a women and he never planned to either, so he wasn't sure how much more this was to handle for Casey.
"You just let me know what you want, and I will be here ready to give it too you no matter what the case may be. I do want to try this out though. Whether that be in the form of friendship or in the form of a relationship I enjoy your company and do believe that we would make a great team. I have hunted alone for so long that having a companion a long would be a wonderful change for me to make."

Casey turned a darker shade of red at Luke's smirk. Seriously! If the guy spent more time working on his nerves and being confident he could win over a straight guy with the quirk of his lips. It sort of made Casey feel inadequate now. He could be a lady-killer with his flirting but this was a whole new ball-game. "I want a relationship!" He practically blurted out before wincing at how desperate that sounded.
His lips curved downward in a pout as he crossed his arms suddenly defensive. "I don't hit on every guy on the street. You're the first one, so..." Casey trailed off, but he had gotten self-conscious for a moment because he didn't want Luke to think he was a manho. The other two women he had flings with had been a long time ago.
"...I just really like you and I think this'll work." Casey rubbed at his own arm, not willing to admit that he had gotten to the point that he was devastating lonely hunting alone. To hunt with a man he was attracted to and could start a lasting relationship with...was a huge relief.

Luke felt his heart pace pick up inside of his chest and he felt his face break out into a huge grin before he could stop himself. Casey wanted a relationship and that was amazing. Luke hadn't been looking for someone, but still someone amazing had practically fallen on his lap and he was not going to miss this opportunity.
"I hog the covers" he found himself blurting out. "I steal the blankets, I talk in my sleep, I usually drink all of the coffee in the morning, I read much more then is strictly necessary and I tend to enjoy crappy horror movies."
He was spewing off all of his habits that he was sure were annoying, wanting to get that out of the way now. They were little quirks about him that he wanted Casey to know. They were things he knew annoyed other people.
"I can be quite annoying, but I hope you'll be able to overlook that"
He finished that with a wink and leaned forward over the table to press his lips to Casey in a quick kiss, he was simply irresistible and Luke could feel happiness bubbling up inside of him.

The blush started to fade away as Casey got more comfortable and he even laughed softly at everything that Luke was blurting out. "Well, then I guess we'll have to cuddle so I can get the blankets too." His flirtiness was picking back up along with his confidence. Even with Luke still smirking at least they weren't talking about the bedroom anymore...though Casey had to admit he was curious about it...
"I hog the bathroom. I have nightmares most nights. I tend to sleepwalk..." He pursed his lips, trying to think of his own quirks to even up with Luke. Everyone had their own little annoyances and he knew he had his own faults. "...I like taking stray animals in, at least temporarily. I can't help it."
At that one kiss and Casey was already falling apart at the seems again. He flushed a deep red before pulling Luke in for a deeper kiss. If there was one thing he knew how to do, it was how to kiss. He wasn't sure if kissing a guy would be different, perhaps a bit rougher, but all Casey knew was that he wanted to feel Luke's lips against his.
