Casey tried to sift through the fuzziness and concentrate. His head hurt. Blood everywhere. He struggled to remain coherent, groaning softly and knowing that the blood was coming from him. Casey had been asked for help by a fellow hunter when at a local bar waiting for Luke. He figured it was nothing so he tried to help... This man, James, was not a hunter. From the long moments Casey had been on the floor and struggling for thought he had caught tidbits of information.
This man was in the process of eliminating hunters. He worked with the demons. He couldn't be killed yet...he had more years to live from a deal with a crossroads demon.
Casey glared up at James, seething, "Luke won't come. He's smart. He will know this is a trap." He coughed up some blood before continuing to glare at the man. "You won't get away with this. I might die but a hunter will kill you one day. Hopefully painfully."
He felt pain in his ribs. Casey tried moving but couldn't. He remembered being hit in the head and then in the ribs with a baseball bat when he had been caught unaware. Casey was starting to fall into unconsciousness. "You'll pay for all of this," Casey choked slightly on his own blood, glaring at the light in front of him, unable to see James.

James sharpened his blade, not even hiding the smirk of pride and the pure bliss he felt. That hunter he had lured to the warehouse, Casey, was bound and bleeding in the corner. It was such a beautiful picture. The man lifted his head up with a glare and James eyed him with glee.
"Oh, he'll come." James laughed, putting his blade down on his desk and going over to crouch by Casey's side. The blood was already starting to seep through the kid's clothing and James could tell he did a fine job breaking at least a couple of his ribs. "Your little boyfriend won't care it's a trap." James mockingly brushed at Casey's forehead. "He'll be so distraught he won't even be prepared. Then I'll kill you in front of his eyes before I settle out to finish him off."
The hate, the pure unadulterated hate in Casey's eyes exhilirated James. It was this hate that was keeping the kid strong enough to remain conscious even after the blow to his head. James couldn't help but chuckle darkly, standing up again to go back to his blade. "Two less hunters in the world. It'll be such a gorgeous moment."
James sat back down, his body shivering in excitement hearing Casey's groan of pain and had to keep himself from getting up and following his dark urges to finish him off. That had to wait for the perfect moment when Luke came.

To say Luke was panicked was a bit of an understatement. He hadn’t heard from Casey and though it was not unheard of for him to do his own things for a few hours, he never went this long without at least calling. Luke had stepped into the bar and considered that Casey was possibly running late, it wouldn’t be unusual but he had been under the impression that he was already there when Casey had called earlier. Luke called over one of the bartenders and described his boyfriend to them, praying that he had seen him.
“He was with a dark-haired man earlier, they seemed to be having an issue so we asked them to take it outside. We don’t do bar fights here”
That immediately set Luke on edge and he picked up his things and headed out the backdoor where the man said they had left through. His heart was pounding in his chest as he thought of the possibilities of where he was. Luke had been a hunter long enough to know that he would be able to track him down, but another part of him was afraid that it would be too late. He headed through the ally in the back and hung a right at another ally that branched off. There was a door towards the end of it and the handle was rusty and Luke had to push his shoulders up against it a few times in order to open it.
“Typical”
He huffed under his breath. This is always how the scene was set. When stepped in the door he could hear muffled voices coming from down the stairs and he heard Casey’s voice, loud and condescending despite whatever situation he had gotten himself into. It had been far too easy to find him and he figured they were both being led into some kind of trap. Following the sound of the voices he moved down the stairs pushing himself through a door at the bottom of the stairs.

Casey felt his senses start to lose their edge, overcome with the stench of blood and pain in his head and ribs. His whole body was on fire with pain and he couldn't really concentrate. The bright lights and some shadows, one of a figure in the distance whom he assumed was James and the others must have been furniture, were all that he could see. His vision was failing him as his brain struggled to get a grasp on itself and work.
"You leave him alone," Casey growled out, squeezing his eyes shut multiple times to try to see clearer. "This beef if between you and me no-..." He cried out as James drove the blade into his leg.
He heard him speak but he wasn't able to respond, the pain almost suffocating. Casey coughed out more blood, his head falling on the floor as he didn't have the energy to keep it up anymore.

James was tired of Casey's loud-mouth and comments and his assertions about Luke. He took his knife and stalked closer to him, ready to shut him up. The hunter made some sort of threat to him about how he should leave his boyfriend alone. It was like the two were in love. Sickening really. There was no such thing as love. It was a fantasy and anyone who believed it was a fool. He was already bored.
The ground was cold to the touch but James knelt down anyway, watching Casey groan with dull interest before driving the blade through his calf. Blood poured out as the sound was sweet to James' ears. It was like an opera. Tragic, dark, and beautiful. If all was planned right then the other hunter, Luke, would watch his boyfriend die. The cry that Casey gave out excited James, and he raised the knife to drive it back in again.

“Stop!”
Luke came rushed forward shoving himself as hard as he could against James, his adrenaline going crazy and his heart beating wildly in his chest. The sound of Casey’s shout was echoing in his ears and he wrestled James away from him, earning himself a few good swings and he knew his eye was going to be black later.
“Stay away from him”
He growled fiercely. Luke wasn’t going to let him near Casey if he could help it and in the back of his head his mind was spinning with concern over the other hunter and his wounds and he could only hope he was still awake.
“Stay with me, Casey!”
He yelled over his shoulder, it was vital that Casey stay awake right now and Luke wasn’t going to think about how this would go if he were to possibly pass out. Luke was thrown off guard momentarily however and he was knocked off of his feet and he felt his head connect painfully with the concrete. Whoever this man was, he was strong. Luke couldn’t get a hold of him long enough to figure anything out about him or recognize any of his features in a way that might explain who he was and why he was doing all of this. All he knew was he needed to get them out of this alive.

The chaos was a jumbled bunch of different senses. Casey could hear shouts and bangs, feel the ground practically vibrate from all the force. He kept fading in and out but then recognized Luke's voice. "L-luke?" He called out in a croaky whisper, trying to speak past the blood that he was about to cough out.
He tried to get ahold of himself, working to focus on the words and sounds all around him despite the pain ringing in his ears and throbbing throughout his entire body. More blood. It was sticky and uncomfortable as Casey tried to push himself up with his hands. Casey fell back down onto the ground with another cry of pain and then growled in frustration. Weakness. This was the epitome of weakness and he was wallowing in it. He had to help Luke...oh...
His head started swimming again and Casey felt his eyes close. Noises still flittered all around him but he was unable to concentrate on them.

Now this is what he wanted! James couldn't hide the sadistic smirk that appeared in a flash as soon as he had regained his footing. There was the other hunter. Perfect. It was moments like these that James' truly cherished. There was no guarantee on life or happiness, in his case he was lucky and had more years but he was devoted to proving that to everyone else. Life was pain.
"Here to save your little whore?" James taunted, throwing a couple bunches, and fighting with relative ease and excitement. This was what he had been waiting for. Casey didn't stand much of a chance but now it was time for a real fight. He wanted this Luke to be as anger with him as possible, it made for a better and more brutal fight.
James knew the whole area like the back of his hand, avoiding the blood that was still pooling around on the floor and smirking as he glanced over to check on the first hunter who he had encountered. The man continued to groan in pain and it was obvious he was out of it, looking like he was nearing unconsciousness. "He's going to die." James' grin was almost maniacle.

James was still delivering blows to his side, alternating between punches and kicks. Luke was able to block some of them, but he could feel his body aching and bruising between each hit. He turned his head and out of the corner of his eyes caught Casey lowering his head to the ground.
“Casey please!”
His voice was hoarse and he had to choke out the words, but he needed to get Casey’s attention. At one point he was able to get a good kick in at James and he stumbled back and Luke took this opportunity to pull himself closer to Casey, he only had a moment but he needed to get his attention. Luke reached out and grasped Casey’s hand tightly tugging on it.
“Casey you need to stay awake, don’t close your eyes, keep them open. I am begging you Casey, stay conscious for me please.”
James had grabbed his legs and pulled him towards him and Luke held his arms above his face, they couldn’t have both of them passed out on the floor or there was no way that they were going to make it out of this alive. Luke felt regret in the pit of his stomach as he tried to fight James off. If they were going to die, it shouldn’t be this early in the relationship when Luke was happier with Casey then he could ever remember being.

Casey blinked a couple times, unable to see still but trying to stay awake from Luke. He wasn't ready to die. If he fell asleep he would die. Or at least he'd be more likely to die.
He pulled his head up, coughing out more blood and watching the blurry of shapes that he knew were James and Luke fighting each other. Everything still hurt but he had to stay awake for Luke at the very least. Casey tried sitting up again but was only able to get his elbows up so he could partially prop himself up. It was easier to stay awake in this position.
"Leave him alone you son of a bitch!" Casey growled out towards James, his voice hoarse and barely audible even though he tried to shout but he knew from the chuckle he heard next that James had heard him loud and clear.

James had to keep his head focused at the task of hand considering Luke turned out to be a fairly good fighter. He would have supposed as easy a fight as with Casey but he was taken aback. In a way it just increased his enjoyment of the situation, adrenaline rushing through his veins and heightening his senses.
He paused, frowning as he suddenly felt blood run down his stomach. James looked down at his shirt and then over to Casey who had gotten a hold of his blade that he had dropped when Luke had run into him. It was in a place that conveniently missed his organs but the bleeding would be heavy. "You little bitch," James growled in response, ignoring Luke as he pulled the blade out and aimed for Casey's chest. One strike to the heart and the little whore would be good and dead.

Luke had never moved as quickly as he did in that moment. It was just a flash, but he saw him preparing to plunge the knife into Casey and his system seemed to go into overdrive and he lunged forward with a cry, knocking James of balance and swing his fist out hard and fast, throwing as many punches as he could get in. His heart racing, all he needed was just a moment so he could get Casey out of here.
"Casey, listen to me. We're going to get out of here, but I need you to stay awake."
Luke grabbed James by the wrist and pinned him down. This other hunter was strong and he wasn't going to be able to hold him off forever. He felt helpless and he needed to get them out of here but he didn't know how.
"Who are you and what do you want with us?"
He snarled down at the man beneath him. Pinning him harder down against the concrete. He had never seen this man before and he did not understand why he had taken Casey in the first place.

Casey raised his head again, letting out a low gutteral groan before mumbled, "I...I-I'm trying..." He really was. It took all his energy to stay awake at this moment. The pain had turned into a dull throbbing and he didn't know how long he would be able to last.
He strained his eyes, trying to make out the two shapes that were probably Luke and his kidnapper though it was still fuzzy and dark- his vision almost completely gone. The man would only try playing games with Luke and Casey knew it. "H-he wants to kill us. H-he wants to kill all the h-hunters he can." He choked out, gritting his teeth in order to ignore the ache in his temple.
Casey shifted, trying to move away from the pool of blood that was now soaking his clothes. Maybe if he moved away he'd be able to concentrate better instead of being overwhelmed by the stench.

James blood was pumping with adrenaline. He didn't even notice how cold or hard the floor was- still enjoying himself. "Your little harlot is right." James took great pleasure in demeaning Casey in front of his boyfriend. It made the boy growl in protest despite his pain and the cries of agony he made afterwards.
"I'm on the side of the demons. One by one I'm killing all the hunters I can. That way you won't be able to stop the apocalypse." James laughed, unable to contain his mirth. "And I get to see you all die such wonderful deaths! Your little bitch over there, for example. He was such a treat to get. All I had to do was tell him I needed help on a hunt and he was eager to help. It wasn't hard to lure him over here and bash his skull with a bat." By this time James only was focusing on infuriating Luke. That was his one and only goal.
"It's a beautiful sight, isn't it? Seeing him soaked in his own blood, and looking at you as if begging you for help. How beautifully weak and pathetic.

Luke could not believe what he was hearing. Something was seriously wrong with this guy's head if he was actually serious about this. People needed hunters, hunters saved people on a daily basis from various horrors that they might not even believe in. When James brought up Casey again Luke pinned him harder to the ground, bring his face down above his and practically growling.
"Leave him out of this. You don't know what I'm capable of"
Luke was angry. It was not often that he broke out of his shy, quiet self, but when his family and loved ones were involved he was not afraid to lash out. He was a skilled hunter and he was aware of that. Him and Casey together were usually unstoppable. Of course, this hunter somehow knew the two of them were each others weak spots. They would be able to get out of this though. Luke was sure of that, he was going to get Casey out of this alive no matter what he had to do to accomplish that.
"You won't get away with this. I may not be able to stop you on my own here in a dirty basement, but you will be stopped"
