My name's Briar, I play Rin Cooper and I'm sure I'll add another character or two soon enough. I live in the southwest deserts with my husband and five year old daughter who runs roughshod over us (and everyone else she meets). Current fangirl obsessions are Supernatural (obviously), Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, and always always always Firefly.
I love playing with photos, reading everything I can get my hands on, and historical embroidery. (I know, I know, yawntastical. I promise, I know better than to talk about the embroidery thing very much.)
My musical taste is eclectic and weird, and I tend to integrate music into my posts because there's such a strong connection between music and characters in my head. Right now my musical obsessions are Paloma Faith, Janelle Monae, Atmosphere, and Johnny Lang but all of that is subject to change without notice.
I tend to play competent girls and neurotic boys and am a bit of a character addict, I tend to collect at least a handful and if unchecked it can run to upward of a dozen. I'll try to control myself, though. I'm happiest when running some complicated plot or other, preferably with a certain amount of violence and mayhem involved, and I really like drawing multiple people into plots and driving them forward. I post fast, given a choice I'll run multiple threads that all move at the rate of a dozen or more posts a day. However, I can be reasonable if I have to be and try not to nag people about posties.
Because I work out of my home, I'm around a lot, but my hours are somewhat dictated by the kiddo, who wakes up at the crack of dawn most mornings and insists on watching several hours of cartoons on the Disney Channel. Seriously, I've probably watched more Secret Agent Oso and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse in my life than I have Joss Whedon shows. Depressing.
My preferred way to talk about game stuff (or anything else) is IM, or PM if the other person doesn't like instant messengers. I have a hard time following the c-box consistently, so it's a really bad way to try to get my attention as a general rule.
