Belial liked the big cities, there were plenty of souls to corrupt and steal while he watched the indecency and wickedness play out before him. Clubs were some of the best places to see sinning in action with beautiful bodies entwined in a dance while others drank themselves in a stupor. He was enjoying his view of it all from his seat on a comfortable sofa-like seat that was placed against the wall of the club. His vessel's mighty body was lounging, his big tattooed arms stretched out on the top of his seat while his leather clad legs rested out in front of him crossed at the ankles. The long raven tresses of his vessel fell against his broad back with a portion drew back to form a french style brand down the middle of his shimmering locks.
Belial had chosen a human who had a great deal of masculine qualities, but there was a subtle hint of femininity which made them quite fascinating to look at. His large deep green eyes were encircled with kohl that made them pop as they peered about him. Belial was certain that his vessel was an eye-catching man, which many would take a second glance at. He smirked slightly in self-assurance as he took a sip off his glass of liquor. He knew he was the baddest and hottest leather-bound man beast in the room.

Why was he even here? The thought raced through his mind as he tuned out the loud music and obnoxious dancers who were making full-displays of themselves. Normally dance clubs were kind of exciting to him because he got to break out and just relax between hunts and perhaps scope out a pretty girl to talk to and maybe more if there was time.
But now it was like a gray canvas painted with black. Nothing was bright or cheerful and most of the girls (and even a couple guys) who asked him to dance just annoyed him. He wanted to be left alone. So that question popped in his mind again: Why was he here?
Casey gave a hesitant smile to a girl who offered him a drink and declined, hovering over his water and drinking it from time to time to calm his nerves and remind himself that he was in control of the situation and that nothing was wrong. His mother was dead...so of course everything was wrong but Casey struggled to find some sort of normalcy that would keep him on track. If he could find a way to get back to normal he could get back on the hunt and fufill his mother's last wishes. He sighed, leaning back on the chair and trying to ignore everything around him.

His kohl encircled eyes lingered on several of the humans on the dance floor, his mind glimpsing into their thoughts. Some of them were quite amusing, but none truly held his interest for very long. It made him wonder if any soul was worthy of his time, that was until his eyes landed on the youth at the bar drinking on what looked like water to him. Gently he cocked his head to the side as he took in the appearance of Casey. Without looking in his mind, he could see the young man was troubled, not something one would expect to see in a club when alcohol was not involved. Personally, it would have made more sense to Belial that the youth would be drowning his sorrows.
Belial could feel his vessel stirring, he definitely approved of the wicked thoughts that were crossing the demon's mind. Belial smirked to himself as he lowered his hand to rub his vessel's thigh in a gesture of affection and a promise of interesting things to come. The demon threw back the liquor in his glass before he rose to his boot clad feet, stalking his way towards the bar counter where he placed his glass down. Belial's thick top half was dressed in a leather vest-like top which was tied down the front while his long legs were housed in a pair of leather pants that hugged every curve and highlighted every muscle on his legs and hips. “Not drinking?” He inquired, his voice a velvet deep sound.

Casey had to hold back the urge just to leave. His feelings were in a twist and a mess but he wanted to be somewhere with a lot of people so that he wouldn't feel alone. If he left and went back to his hotel room he would feel isolated and trapped.
He was about to finish up his glass of water and order another one (despite the weird looks the bartender kept giving him since he wouldn't drink alcohol) when he sensed someone else behind him. The man sat down next to him and questioned him.
Casey shrugged, not ready to turn away the company yet but also not really thrilled about it either. It was always a pain in the ass to give people the hint that he didn't want to talk and just wanted to be left alone. "I don't like alcohol. The taste bothers me."

“Ah,” he proclaimed with a nod before turning his attention to the bartender, ordering himself another one of his drink of choice. Belial let his big, muscular arms nestle on the counter which he gently leaned against. “Rather like it myself... warm feeling in the belly,” Belial remarked as he leaned back in his chair, his large hand giving his stomach a light pat while his deep green eyes looked directly at Casey. His hand lingered there for a bit, caressing his stomach idly over the leather that hid the strong flesh out of sight.
Slowly he tilted his head as his eyes stayed fixed on Casey before his top lip was tugged upwards to reveal the white teeth of his vessel in a grin that somehow managed to be alluring yet sinister on him. He emitted a deep chuckle as he plucked up his glass and brought it to his lips, taking a large gulp. “I think a lot more then the alcohol is bothering you, boy,” he abruptly stated with his drink in his hand, making the liquid in the glass stir around. He broke a piece of ice under his teeth as he glanced over at Casey, his mind rudely touching his in an attempt to read it, mainly cause he wanted to see his reaction.

Casey didn't even glance at the man but he was already annoyed. This conversation wasn't going anywhere and he wasn't interested. "Look, I don't know what you want but please back off. I don't need anymore problems." He didn't mean to make his voice sound as sharp as it did but the guy gave off interested vibes that Casey picked up on even without looking at him. Better to wave it off now before it became a big problem.
The only thoughts on his mind that were relevant and that he cared about were those of his mother and his family. His family already thought he was dead... and that she had run off so it wasn't as if he could go and tell them about her. But somehow it felt wrong to just let it hang without even bothering.
Could he figure out a way to let his parents know without going all the way back home and still hiding his identity? He could probably pay another hunter to report her death to his family but that might be a bit creepy.

“Now that's not very nice,” he muttered like he were offended, but honestly he found it rather amusing. Gently he slipped down from his seat, standing up once more but this time next to Casey's seat. He leaned forward, bring his head close to the young man's ear so he could whisper into it “What I want Casey is to do unspeakable things to your delicate little body. I would hurt you so good that you would scream for more,” he whispered with a lascivious growl on the end, breathing warm breath against his soft flesh.
Belial was half-tempted to lift Casey off his seat and carry him out of the club like he were a caveman claiming his prize. But he reminded himself that he was in public and primitive actions like that were frowned upon, plus looking into Casey's mind he had seen that he was a hunter. Hunters were dangerous, but Belial found he did not care, besides danger made life exciting. He drew back from him with a raised brow “But I see you're mind is already occupied with your dearly departed mother... hunter?” Belial allowed the knowledge to sink in that he was not just a normal human. “Death is such a buzz kill, it ends all the fun,” he chuckled with his big arms crossed over his chest.

Casey's eyes narrowed, still not looking over at the stranger. He wasn't worth his time but he knew he wasn't human. "What do you want, demon?" That was the only creature he could identity with having the ability to sense his emotions and read his mind like that. And the way he was acting like he was a big tough badass with an ego the size of a blimp...Casey figured it would be a demon.
"There are six hunters in this bar. They'll figure out what you are now that you are in the open." Casey wasn't afraid. If it came down to it and he had no escape he would merely kill himself before the demon could have his fun. Because of his mother and the life and death situations they had faced each day together Casey was very adept and knowing ways to kill himself in very unusual ways. It came with his fear of being trapped.
"I would suggest leaving before things get ugly." Casey would normally be thrilled for a go at a demon but right now he wanted to be left alone with his drink- responsibilities be damned.

“I told you what I wanted, hunter,” Belial told him as he gently tilted his head, looking at the back of Casey's head that he refused to turn to look at him. “Thought I made that clear enough for you.” The demon watched him quietly for a few minutes, the malice in him still there yet it had reduced dramatically. He was now more curious about this hunter who reacted without fear and no fear of death. Belial had never encountered anyone or anything that did not have some reservation about being so near a monster like him.
“Why do you warn me about my safety? I know it's not because you fear what I can do to you or what I am. Strange, you don't fear me at all,” he remarked in his deep, alluring voice as he reached out towards him. Gently the back of his sizable hand brushed against the back of Casey's hair in a gesture that seemed almost tender if it was not coming from such a monstrous thing that was Belial. “I haven't tried to hurt you have I? Why do you wish me ill will?” the demon inquired of the youth as he reached out to Casey, resting a hand on his shoulder like he actually cared. “I will leave you to your grief, if that is truly what you wish.”

Casey snorted, not really understanding why this guy was pushing it. Sure, sex or whatever but that didn't even seem like much of a good motive to Casey. There were a number of gay bars or even just regular bars all over town so it was strange that he picked up on him. He had his propositions before, of course, like the many before this guy but this was different. "I'm not much of a masochist." Casey had heard some stories from other hunters his age of sexual encounters with demons and he really wasn't into the whole blood and pain thing.
Hell, Casey liked sex rough but only with a full-blooded man or women. Granted, he hadn't actually had one of those experiences with a man yet but he didn't want to test it out with this demon, that was for sure. "I don't tend to make dealings with demons. Or socialize with them for that matter. I have no problem with you, I'd just rather be left alone." He wasn't afraid of this demon. Nor did he really dislike him but he did not appreciate the fact that no one was willing to leave him alone.

“Too bad, pain can be quite appealing if done by the right individual and I've been taught by the best Hell has to provide,” he said as took a sip off his neglected drink before placing it once more on the counter. “I must confess I'm more of a sadist then masochist... I must prefer to give then receive, but sending many lifetimes having pain given to me I've learned to appreciate it.” Belial was being honest for once, he saw no value in lying to Casey. After all, Casey had been quite honest with him.
He had to admit that he was surprised at the hunter said to him. He had no trouble with him. Belial would never have expected a hunter to say that a demon was not a trouble to him. Every experience he had with a hunter, luckily a very small amount, they had expressed a hatred for his kind and they were more then willing to kill any demon they encountered. It was a breath of fresh air to hear a hunter did not want his immediate destruction. “It is because I am a demon or the fact you just don't want to be bother is the reason you're rejecting me?” he asked of the hunter seated next to him.

This guy really couldn’t take a hint and leave but Casey decided he’d deal with it until the demon got bored of him and just left on his own. He didn’t want to rile any trouble up in this bar and get kicked out like some of his friends in high school had tended to do. “Why have pain when you can have pleasure?” Casey shrugged. “Pain is overrated. And then you have to heal up. It’s useless.” The way demons thought about things was…well, not quite disconcerting to him at the moment- just plain bizarre.
“A little bit of both. I won’t betray my mother’s code of honor for a demon. And I don’t want to have some game of seduction with you. No offense, you’re probably a great lay or whatever but that’s really not what I want right now.” The two girls from his travels he did have relations with had been great but since it was a one-night-stand sort of deal without any affection or love attached had left him feeling quite empty. Casey already felt at the bottom of the barrel right now so doing this….well, fooling around would only serve to make him feel worse.

Belial shrugged his heavily broad shoulders at the hunter's words that suggested pleasure was better then pain. He liked pain, but he also liked pleasure too. Pain was just something he was more familiar with since his time in the pit. He had grown to love the pain. “It's something I've been born into... personally its something I've grown accustomed to,” he replied, his eyes peering off into the distance like he were recalling something deep in his past before his focus returned to his glass on the counter. Carefully he lifted it to his lips, draining it of the last bit of liquor inside. His large pink tongue extended out to lick across his bottom lip before finally turning his attention to Casey.
“Spend centuries in Hell, you won't find pain as useless,” he muttered as he pushed his glass up for the bartender to take to refill it for him. Belial smirked a little to himself as he was called a probably good lay. Gently he nodded his head “So you're looking for love...” he chuckled low in his throat as the glass was place back in front of him. He gathered it up to his lips, taking a sip, enjoying the flavor. “That is not an easy thing to find,” Belial told him as he studied the glass in his hands.

Casey’s nose crinkled in disgust. “Sounds like you were conditioned to like it. You had no choice, is that really a good thing?” Free will was always something he appreciated. He didn’t like angels, demons or anybody telling him what to do or how to live his life. He could do it just fine on his own without any of that crap.
This demon had tricks up his sleeve. He could read minds, go figure. That did not serve to help Casey out of his bad mood. It only darkened it a whole lot. “No, it isn’t. But the hardest things to find are the ones most worth it.” He should know. His mother had been hard to find but when Casey had found her finally after all that searching it had been like the grey skies had lifted and light was abound in his life again. He needed that again almost desperately despite his refusal to pay attention to his own desires.
