[bg=1b1d1b][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=valign,bottom] | [atrb=valign,bottom][bg=1b1d1b] "Just follow me," was Wil's decision after a bit of thought. "I want the toys in my car, and figure you probably want the ones in yours too." Hunters tended to load up their vehicles with little secret compartments, protective symbols concealed in the carpets, stuff like that. Wil's car was the closest thing he and Tish hd to a home, despite the small brownstone in Brooklyn and the house in northern Arizona that they only got to visit a couple of times a year, and every inch of it was familiar and comfortable and loaded with traps.
He dropped a couple of twenties on top of what Guillaume had put down, shot back the last of his coffee, and pushed up from the table. "I'm at the motel across the street, won't take long."
And it didn't, not three minutes later they were in the parking lot a moderately clean motel, and Wil was nodding permission for Guillaume to follow him into the room. He and Tish would be leaving tonight anyway, they never stayed in the same motel once they'd been made. When they got inside, Tish was sitting at the table in Wil's room packing down the reloading equipment. They'd been making salt and silver rounds, but she'd already packed and labeled those and now was cleaning and breaking down the reloader and dies, packing the pieces into their case.
When the door opened she glanced up, her hand moving to the Beretta Cheetah but then starting to pull back from it when Wil entered. On seeing that the other dude was there too Tish went ahead and picked it up but didn't start waving it around or anything. "Wil?"
"Demon, baby. Just pickin' up the stuff I'll need. You lockdown." Wil went over to Tish, pressed a hard kiss to the top of her head and accepted her too-tight hug. When she eased up on him Will stepped back and touched her cheek. "Hunker down, arm up, and if I'm not back by morning you know what to do."
She scowled, but nodded. "But be back by morning." It was an order, not a request.
"I will be." He kissed her hair again and then pulled up a dark red duffel bag from the pile in the closet, swung it onto his shoulder, and asked Guillaume, "You got everything you need for demons?"

Guillaume simply nodded his head. As Wil headed to the hotel, Guillaume first went to his car to get out some weapons from the trunk. Once he had gotten out his rifle, bullets (he placed those in his side jeans pocket), and also a knife along with some salt and then stuffed them in a duffel bag, he closed the car's trunk then headed to the motel. This is of course after he had driven up to the hotel. After all, there is no way he'd pack up the things and leave his car behind at the bar. Once he was inside the room, he placed his bag on the table to load up his rifle with the bullets, not disturbing Wil and his daughter. Once he was set, he nodded. "Yep, even some more bullets just in case if I run out. You're ready?"
Then as to wait for Wil to answer, he then turned towards Wil's daughter. "And do not worry mademoiselle, I'll look after your papa for you and make sure he'll come home to you in the morning and he'll be safe. That is my word." He still thought about his son, would he have taken him along with him on this?
Maybe but then again he's just a kid. Oh God he hoped no demon is nearby his little boy! If they were, he hopes-no he PRAYS to God-that his ex-girlfriend would protect their son and fight against the demons. He'll take note to go into Maine just in case to make sure that no demon is in that area. Because if she doesn't fight and that there were demons nearby them, he would definately kick some demon butt especially if they ever go nearby his little boy. Yes, he's not with the girlfriend, but still she IS the mother of his child and he doesn't want his kid to not have a mother in his short period of life.

[bg=1b1d1b][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=valign,bottom] | [atrb=valign,bottom][bg=1b1d1b] Tish tilted her head back to look up at Guillaume. "Wil always comes home to me," she said, solemn and just a tiny bit defiant. "And he's always safe. He promised me a long time ago that he wouldn't die."
Knowing that his girl was too well-trained to even hint at why he wouldn't, couldn't die out on a hunt, Wil just ran a hand down her shiny-dark hair and smiled at her, soothing her again. "And I keep my promises. Especially to you."
She nodded, too serious for a girl so young. "You do." And then she hugged him again before moving back to the table to finish packing down the equipment. This was normal to her, this was what life was. To send her adopted father off to fight monsters while she waited with a pistol at her side and salt across all the doors and windows, a Devil's trap painted in hair gel (it worked, and didn't freak out the motel staff after they left) inside the front door. She made ice cubes out of holy water and had memorized exorcisms along with her times-tables. It was the best or worst life imaginable for a girl on the cusp of being a teenager, even she and Wil were unsure which.
At any rate, one more round of 'love yous' got Wil and Guillaume out the door and Wil waited until he heard the latches close behind him before he nodded to the young hunter and said, "I'm following you."

Guillaume first gave the girl a nod and as he swung his bag over his shoulder, he walked over to the door and opened it, then looked over his shoulder at the pair as they said their "I love you's." He thought about his son how he wished his son would have remained with him than of being in Maine with his mother. Part of him wished that they had worked it out but the other part is he wished he would have kept the kid and have the mother just move. Why did she take the son though? Maybe because of the fact that both are young and plus she was moving to there with her parents anyway. Or maybe it is the fact she just didn't wanna deal with him anymore. He's not a bad guy though. Its not like he abused the child.
But then again he is glad that little Guillaume is with his mother-the both of them actually that he is glad that they aren't here-cause if they were they would most likely be worried for him since the young man is now a hunter. However the question remains in his brain. IF they were here, would they be on the road with him or not? He allowed that thought to linger as he walked out of the motel room with Wil. Once the door was latched, he nodded at the young man and then headed to his car first, got in, placed his bag of weapons beside him and started up the car. He placed in some music by The Rolling Stones into his cd player and backed the car up then slowly pulled out and stopped just not far off to give the other hunter the time to catch up.

[bg=1b1d1b][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=valign,bottom] | [atrb=valign,bottom][bg=1b1d1b] Wil climbed into his SUV and pulled out to follow Guillaume. Since it wasn't like they could discuss the case or anything, the shtriga just flipped on the MP3 player and navigated through it to find some Nina.
As the first smoke-dark notes came drifting through the speakers Wil could feel some of the tension drop out of his back. Nina Simone always did that to him. That voice of hers so dark and knowing, so accepting of the truth that it was never going to get any better but that the world was still worth living in. It was a mindset a hunter needed, at least Wil thought so.
He drove along behind Guillaume, trusting the younger hunter to know where they were going while he concentrated on planning out which weapons and tools he wanted to take into the fight and, more, on getting himself into the right mindset for the battle that was about to happen.

As Guillaume drove, he thought about the outcome of the demon that the two would face. He knows for one sure, the demon likes to be in a small neighborhood. Why? So it'd be easier for him to get his prey. He also likes those suburbs type of homes too. He isn't sure why the guy picks those, maybe because you never know what's going to happen in the neighborhood. Then he shook his head. Nah don't think about why the guy pick it. Think of what to do, how to get in. Its a good thing that Wil is with him on this hunt, otherwise he'd be stuck. Big time. He turned on the radio allowing Aerosmith to play. He likes the really old ones you know when they first came out but he likes some of the new ones too-including "Jaded".
As "Dude looks like a Lady" played, he continued his drive. He looked in the review mirror to see Wil's car and then turned towards the road. The neighborhood that the demon is in, appeared in the distance. They're here. He continued on then rolled down his window to stick out his hand and wave over to there as if saying, "that's it right there, we're almost there." Then he rolled it back up. He looked at his right to see his bag filled with the weapons and smiled as he turned towards the road once more. That demon will now soon regret even DARE pretending to be a human and mess with the innocent boys because tonight...he's going down and Guillaume's not gonna take him down without a fight. Its also still a good thing Wil is here because he also knows what to do when it comes to going after these guys! In fact he wondered what the guy would be planning to do, as well. Also he hoped his friend's daughter would be okay back there. Yes, she can handle herself, but still. Oh great...there goes the fatherly instincts kicking in, thanks to the fact that his son is not here but still he thinks about him. A lot.
