“If you wish it I could make him suffer for abandoning you... I would wipe them from existence if you only wished it.” He suggested in his way of trying to cheer her up, sensing that being abandoned by her vampire creator had left a painful void in her life. It was not something he was familiar with, but if he had been discarded by his demon kind he might have a better understanding how it felt to be truly alone in the world. However, he felt an odd fondness for the vampire, something that intrigued him yet at the same time unnerved him. He was a demon he was not suppose to feel for anything outside of their kind yet he discovered at times he had some form of affection towards other beings. He would often chalk it up to desire or loneliness, after all he had spent centuries in Hell with many of his kind yet he had never formed any true bonds with any of the demons. But demons were not known for their bond making skills.
Belial gave her a rare smile in return, holding her hand like they were lovers out for a pleasant stroll. “Yes, it's something I grown to enjoy, especially being out of Hell and here on Earth in this vessel. I like it very much,” he admitted to Margaret with pride, he was definitely proud of what he was. “What about you, do you like being a vampire?” he inquired in a strangely soft tone to his deep voice.

Margaret visibly hesitated before frowning. "I...most of the coven are dead." They had been destroyed by the hunters that she had tipped off. To others it would seem like a move of betrayal but they had promised her so much good and gave her only a tainted body and way of life. Nothing was pure to the touch anymore and most things seemed plain old black and white. "My sire? I don't know if he died or not." She had always assumed he was gone and had left this world but he was powerful and might have gotten away unharmed.
"I do not want to like blood. I miss the taste of normal food. It''s now like ash in my mouth." Margaret admitted. She felt a slight envy at how Belial liked what had become of himself after he changed. "So, I...although my strength and the differences help me with what I need to and want to do...I don't love being a vampire. I might be fond of it sometimes but even though I was fragile as a human it was nice to just not understand all of this complicated mess of another world. A whole 'nother life."

Belial nodded his head at her words about her coven and their destruction. Hunters had slaughtered them no doubt. It seemed as if the vampires were an endangered species in current times, something that strangely disturbed the demon. However, these vampires that Margaret came from did not concern him. He was pleased to know they had been destroyed, why he had not a clue. “The hunters came for them I suppose. Good, you deserve better then him,” he stated to her in complete honesty. In his eyes she deserved to a powerful goddess of the night with humans bowing at her feet as they awaited to be her next victim. Yet she seemed so unwilling to accept what she was, but deep down he was sure she had a darker side.
Slowly he turned about so they were facing each other “You're are so innocent Margaret, but one day it will all make sense to you. Then you shall own this world,” Belial said as he drew her hand once more to his lips, pressing delicate kisses upon the soft flesh of her hand. His deep, hypnotic eyes peered into her striking ones that seemed so virtuous. “A beautiful pearl resting in her shell... just waiting to be freed,” Belial remarked, brushing his hand against her soft cheek.

Margaret’s gut churned, the urge to hole back up inside herself welling up strongly. She had killed her own coven. They had treated her horribly and she hadn’t wanted to be reborn in this odd horrible way but still the knowledge that she was their downfall almost tore her apart. It was one of the most basic instincts, as if they had been her family despite how much she felt like an outcast. Like killing her human family in cold blood. A shiver before she hugged herself and shrugged it off with an almost violent frustration.
She gazed up at Belial with eyes full of curious wonder. He was so kind to her and spoke so gently but he was speaking of such dark things. Yet she was unfazed, for lack of a better term. Almost immune to fear when in this confident demon’s presence. His courage and strength of will not only impressed her but drew her in. Margaret wanted to be safe and it felt like she could be safe around Belial. To be safe again and to truly feel it was welcoming and she was almost hesitant to let this demon ever go away. Would Belial welcome her company or shun her and not let her come with him? She pondered that but didn’t pose the question aloud just yet.
Margaret felt a shiver run down her spine, but it was of pleasure not from the cold chill in the air. She bit her lower lip, relishing the feeling of the affection. It was genuine and it made her feel loved despite her heart warning her cynically that she would never be loved. “I feel as if I will never be free,” Margaret’s voice quivered just slightly as she thought it over. She couldn’t ever get rid of the vampire taint; it would always remain at her side like her shadow. Dark and overpowering.

Belial met the vampire's gaze of wonder and curiosity, she had such beautiful eyes that he discovered he enjoyed looking into them. “You will be free Margaret... one day you will master this and fulfill your destiny,” he told him in a strangely reassuring tone he did not think he had the ability to create in his deep, ominous-sounding voice. “It only takes time,” his hands lower to her shoulders, gently caressing them. She felt so fragile and delicate under his touch like a precious piece of sculpture from an ancient age.
All of his conquests of late had been male, it had been sometime since he had felt the softness of a female, especially with one as beautiful and innocent yet with a dark taint which made her fitted for his company. She may have done evil in the past, but in his eyes that made her even more pure, though his pure was much different then the human definition of the word. His pure was not of good, but of evil. Carefully he drew her closer by her shoulders, wrapping his massive arms around her to draw her to his side. His hand rubbed her back, comforting whatever lingering feelings of fear or anxiety she might have left.

Margaret gasped softly as their eyes met, being pulled closer and feeling wanted for once. It wasn’t wanted necessarily in terms of desire but just…wanted. Maybe not in an innocent way but it was wonderful and she had never had this feeling before. Warmth struggled through from the pit of her stomach and she felt her whole body heat up. She may not be needed but this was just as fine in her books. To feel… maybe this was affection? Margaret liked it, whatever it was, and wondered how long it would last.
“My destiny?” What was her destiny? Instead of looking into his eyes to decipher it Margaret tried to settle down her nerves and just relax in the comfort she was receiving. Belial put her at ease instantly and soon the rhythmic motion of his hands on her lower back sent all her troubles and worries away. It calmed her down and soon all the fear and anxiety was rushed out of her system.

“Yes, your destiny. We all have our purpose Margaret. I'm sure it will be revealed to you in due time. But I have to admit waiting is a bitch,” he told her with a low chuckle escaping him, revealing he was adding a playful touch to their conversation. Gently he leaned his head down to the top of her head, his nose sucking in her scent before he pressed his lips to her scalp in a very faint kiss. He knew just by the way she welcomed him in like a friend, he had her. It was something that pleased him to know he had drawn her in so quickly. It reinforced his ego to think he could claim souls so easily and the fact she was a beautiful woman made it all the better.
She wanted him, he was certain about that, but the question was what did he want from her. Maybe it was a curiosity, he had never been around vampires before since they were rather rare these days. And perhaps it was his libido rearing its head again. It did not matter, she was here at his side willingly. “Would you like to come with me?” he inquired of the vampire with a dark brow arched curiously. He was almost sure what the answer would be.

Margaret pondered on that as she just enjoyed the comfort of the embrace. Her form was so thin and small compared to his but she fit in his arms perfectly. Her cheeks flushed before she forced herself to think again. What would her destiny be? Was she really meant to force herself into the full bloodthirsty nature of a vampire and be ruthless? Or was her destiny something more subtle? The young vampire’s mind was whirling with the possibilities and she had to force herself to calm down so she wouldn’t get light-headed. She really didn’t want to faint and embarrass herself.
Accompany him? Did Belial mean just in leaving the museum or in traveling together? Maybe it was only her thumping heart and the fact that she was finally being accepted giving her these almost ridiculous high hopes but whatever the case Margaret wished it was the later. “Oh…yes.” She didn’t hesitate, merely paused to keep herself from seeming too eager and smiled. “I’d love to accompany you.”

“Good. I'm glad,” he said with the hint of a charming smile on his delicate lips. He may have been evil and seductive, but there was a definite charisma about him that both sexes could find appealing if he was not there to kill or harm them. They said the devil was a gentleman, Belial was proving that demons could be one too, though usually they had their own motive underneath it all. What was the giant demon's motive? It was still a utter mystery, but perhaps in time it would make itself known. Softly he pressed his lips to her forehead in a gesture that seemed almost tender and loving towards the vampire, even thought he was a being from the pit who knew nothing but the darkest part of the heart.
“Would you like to see the home of my vessel? I'm sure he won't mind letting you see it. He's never had a vampire there... you're the first... and the first I have met,” Belial gently grasped her hand in his which seemed to encompass it entirely but for her delicate fingers. “Hope you like motorcycles,” he remarked cryptically as he guided the pretty vampire towards the exit. In the parking lot of the museum a pretty black with red flames Harley-Davidson was parked just waiting for them.

Margaret felt the most content she had in years. In fact, she didn’t remember a moment when she felt this happy and cared for. She had been all wrong about demons. They were the ones who were seen in such a negative light for no reason. They were persecuted just as she was even though they didn’t deserve it. She felt like her mind had been opened for the first time to the truth.
“Ah, yes. I’d love to.” The young vampire tried to curb her excitement, at least from showing so much, and followed Belial. She was a bit skittish when it came to motorcycles and had never been on one but Belial had been so gentle with her that perhaps he would teach her and make her fears go away. “I’ve never ridden one but…it looks very dashing.” Margaret bit her lip just in time before she admitted that she was afraid.

The demon could read the fear on the vampire like he could her vulnerability, it was a gift that he possessed. “Don't be afraid,” he said in his most soothing tone as he guided the pretty vampire towards the massive motorcycle. “It won't hurt you I promise. Here let me show you how to get on it,” he carefully released her hand before he climbed onto the bike to show her how to get onto it. “Get on behind me like I showed you... then once you're on you wrap your arms around me and hold on tight,” he smiled at her encouragingly, sitting proudly on the machine looking like a modern knight ready to conquer the world.
He knew that she probably still a little uneasy about the motorcycle ride “Just for you, I'll drive a lot slower. So you ain't got to worry about anything,” Belial added hoping to sooth the rest of her fear away. Once she would climb on, he would turn his head towards her to offer another light smile “You're gonna love this, I promise!” he turned his attention to the machine which started with a loud roar. It brought a wide grin to the demon's lips as he slowly backed it out of the parking space.

Margaret swallowed hard, trying to squelch her nerves down in order to keep from looking like a fool. It was probably obvious, written all over her face and she wanted to kick herself. She was trying her best to be herself but also be, well…to impress the first person who had taken an interest in her in years. Sure, Belial was a demon, but so far he was the kindest out of everyone she had talked to in the last few years.
“I trust you,” She nodded, refusing to hesitate. After a moment of thought Margaret got on the motorcycle, wrapped her lithe arms around the demons strong muscular body and held on. She kept it a tight enough grip that she wouldn’t fall off but way looser than she would have liked so she didn’t seem too frightened. Margaret bit her lip until it bled as they sped off and closed her eyes, not wanting to even look around for fear of getting nauseous.

Belial was pleased to hear those words from the vampire's lips, which said she trusted him. It might have seemed strange for a demon, but Belial enjoyed having her trust. It was empowering and sexy. He smiled as her arms engulfed his waist then they were off to his vessel's home. He decided not to go his usual high speed, but drove the bike just under the speed limit in an attempt to ease Margaret's fears. However, he was quite sure that the vampire was still scared, though he went out of his way to make her comfortable. Belial said nothing the entire time they rode, his eyes focused on the road with his hands on the handlebars.
Soon they rode up a long driveway to a lengthy house which was stretched across the property with woods surrounding it. It was a rather remote area, but it was peaceful and beautiful. He parked the bike in front, cutting the engine off and kicking out the kickstand. “We're home,” he announced as he climbed off his vessel's bike to place his feet on the soft earth. Belial sucked in the clean, fresh air as he gently caressed the chest of his vessel. He turned back to her with the hint of a smile, offering her his hand “Let's go inside,” he suggested.

The woods were stunning. Margaret silently admired them as they pulled up and smiled softly to herself. She was used to the forests and woods. The vampire frequently visited them when she needed time to herself away from the people who scared her or when she was sure that a hunter was on her trail. Margaret could ease herself through even the darkest and eeriest of forests as if they were nothing more than a simple maze. She was not afraid of the wild. It was the one thing that wasn’t afraid of her. The trees could not fear or harm her. The animals didn’t take very well to her, unless she offered to feed them, but that wasn’t her main concern or focus.
She scurried off the motorcycle when it stopped, not wanting to get in Belial’s way as he got off himself. It was impolite to be in a hosts’ way and Belial had been ever so kind to her. Margaret nodded, taking his hand and grinning from ear to ear up at him. She had feared she would lose the simple enjoyment of holding hands or even just conversing with someone when she had become a vampire but now those fears were disappearing. Who would have thought that a demon would open up her frightened shell and ease her worries?

Belial happily guided the vampire into his and his vessel's home. The room they walked into first was the living room, which was designed with dark cherry wood flooring and dark blue walls with red curtains that resembled drawn back theater curtains with golden tassels. It was a beautiful room that seemed more fitting in a mansion with a private citizen’s home. “This is the living room,” he proclaimed to Margaret, guiding her around the house. “I personally love the curtains... red is a favorite of mine,” he admitted to her before he lead her further, pausing a moment to show her the sizable kitchen which was designed in dark cherry wood cabinets and counter and matching hues to the ones in the living room. “The kitchen were I attempt to cook,” the demon admitted to his new companion with a playful smirk.
“Wanna see my room?” he grinned devilishly at her like he had dark yet sexy intentions, he could not help it he was still a demon after all. Belial laughed as he pressed a kiss to her temple before heading down the hallway towards his room. Inside the bedroom was a massive bed which looked like it could fit several people on it with a black and red sheets and blanket set. A large window was to the left of the doorway with similar curtains as the ones in the living room but they were closed so the room was dim in lighting. To the right, was a large dresser were he keep some of his clothing while in front of the bed was a large closet with a long mirror over it. Finally he released her hand as he approached the bed, stretching out on it with a sigh “You like it?” he asked.
