OVERALL APPEARANCE:
Apollo’s appearance at this time is long and lean but very muscular in his upper-body. He is tall, has a strong stature and always has a commanding presence no matter where he goes. To fit in with humans and keep from attracting attention he has taken on the form of a young man who is attractive (because he is a bit vain) but also just normal enough to be mostly left alone.
His eyes are bright and filled with wisdom beyond his age (at least the age he appears to be) and his voice is almost musical with a careful and controlled inflection.
He tends to wear clothes that are in fashion and make him look his best because he is rather pleased with his looks and maintaining his appearance. If it is required for a hunt, perhaps to help some humans, Apollo will wear usable clothes but he really doesn't enjoy it.

OVERALL PERSONALITY:
Apollo has lived so many years that pratically nothing fazes him. He is calm and collected and is very serious when dealing with matters of business and when in dangerous situations and when the situation calls for it but he can be very playful.
Apollo is very artistic, playing the lyre and loving to create new interesting and unusual tunes. He is content to mess around with mortals if it is fun and to help guide them along what he believes their chosen path is. Also he is war-like, proud and generally is a kind pagan god. However, if he feels like he has been wronged he can get petulant and angered in a very immature fashion.

HISTORY:
Apollo was born after the pagan god Zeus impregnated a human named Leto. Zeus’s wife, Hera, was enraged at this knowledge when she found out and banned Leto from giving birth on land and so Leto traveled on until finding a floating island (Delos) which was not attached to the mainland and not a true island connected to the ground. Apollo and his sister Artemis were born soon after. He grew strong and quickly, killing a dragon four days after his birth as the legend goes. He has had many lovers in the past-both male and female- but doesn’t tend to take such things seriously and the few times he had, his lover has been killed or worse.
He has lived a very long time, changing form and appearance multiple times throughout history to blend in- especially since not much belief in him anymore. He has searched around the earth, looking for the last believers and trying to make his final stand before getting forgotten. This time he has taken the form of a young man who had died in a shape shifter attack- Ashton Clarke and goes by that name in public so not to be recognized for what he truly is.
Currently Apollo goes on hunts to protect humans, tries providing advice and wisdom to those who will listen and travels around still in search of those last believers in him.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:
Music. It was pure heaven to his ears and Apollo leaned back, closing his eyes to enjoy the pleasure it brought him. The man playing at the edge of the bar with his flute and the woman with her fiddle just created an atmosphere that any artist could appreciate. Apollo was almost tempted to join in himself. He let his fingers tap out the tune at his table, opening his eyes and smiling charmingly at the women to his right. She batted her eyelashes at him as he took a sip of his drink.
