Gwen huddled up in the booth. Warmth radiated out of the heater in the corner of the room and settled on her skin quite nicely. She was the perfect distance away from the door, able to see most of the action in case anything happened and also was near the heater. Perfect. Gwen stretched out her shoulder a bit, ordering some breakfast and a coffee for herself. It was late afternoon but the diner still served breakfast late which she was thankful for. She needed a good meal that could kick the empty feeling in her stomach to the curb.
As if on cue it grumbled unpleasantly and Gwen frowned, flushing a bit as a couple of the humans in the tables to her right stared at her. It was embarrassingly loud but she hadn't had a chance to eat all day. The hunt had taken a lot out of her and if she hadn't seen it through to the end like she had... that stupid werewolf would still be out reeking havoc.
She screwed up her face into a disapproving frown and glared over at the rude men who instantly ignored her. Sometimes to get what you wanted you had to have a little attitude. Her face relaxed and she almost regretted being so open with her feelings but now that they weren't staring at her anymore she could relax. Gwen's lips turned up in a quirky smile as her coffee was brought by and drank out of the mug heartily. Warmth everywhere. How swell.

There seemed to be no other angel that cared about the vessel they lived in on earth, though, Parisa kept in great connection with her vessel's need. Parisa spent her time on earth in a seventeen year old's body, keeping her as healthy and clean as she was before. This vessel, before being taken, was very concerned with her looks and owned too many clothes to count. Normally she wouldn't care about this vessel's view, but as today was ran it was important that she kept up with her vessel's appearance. The angel's job was to nourishment, after all, and that meant keeping her vessel well alive.
Today, she spent her day in Heaven and it wasn't until late afternoon she had the chance to touch ground. At least once a day Parisa would be at a diner, she loved the vibe given from the people inside and she also liked how it felt to eat. She always kept connected to Sophia, her vessel, and kept her well away from hunger. The only thing her vessel couldn't resist was chocolate, and now she stood before the counter with her green eyes on the chocolate cake.
"May I have a piece of that cake?" She asked, pointing her slim pointer finger towards the cake under glass on the counter. Inside her vessel craved this chocolate cake and the angel couldn't say no. Quickly, she sat at the counter on the rotating seat, taking the fork she was given. Happily, she picked up a small piece of chocolate cake with her fork before hearing a small crumbling noise coming from a booth to her left. Swiveling towards the noise with the fork still her hand, her eyes stared right at a blond in a booth. "Hello." Parisa blinked a few times, studying the girl's face before showing a smile.

One of the main reasons Gwen chose a place like this was that it was quiet and the people who came her often left her alone. Not that she didn't approve of or like company but she dealt mostly with the rough and tough hunters most often and it really took a lot out of her. It was a grueling job, that was for sure, but some were so hardened it was a wonder they were helping people at all. At least, that was what Gwen believed anyhow.
Her body froze for a moment, lips turned up in a sort of surprised grin at being addressing and looked over at the woman who had just called out to her. Kind face, very young looking. And there was the vibe that said she wasn't mortal, at least only her vessel was. "Hello." Gwen smiled softly, turning her body over more in her new acquiantances direction. It was more welcoming and inviting that way. Despite her small stature people tended to stay away from her as if sensing she wasn't normal.
"Sister?" Gwen asked hesitantly. Sometimes she got it wrong but she was certain this was another angel. It wasn't often she met her siblings. Large stretches of time elapsed between her encounters with them.
