OVERALL APPEARANCE:
Standing at five feet and ten inches, Eve is naturally slender with a model-esque build, a slight frame and curves in the appropriate places. She is not the most self-confident person and wishes she had a more womanly figure, than that of a stick, though there is not much she can do about it. Eve would not consider herself pretty, just ordinary, with blonde tresses that frame her face, blue eyes—lashes that are way too light—and a fair complexion; her skin burning during the summer and drying out in the winter. Like every woman, she uses makeup to cover up her blemishes, concealing the inevitable dark circles beneath her eyes, and to enhance her facial features overall to at least feel pretty every once and a while.
Her wardrobe is simple, consisting mainly of comfortable clothes such as turtlenecks, v-necks, camis, and tanks, with a pair of jeans she can lounge around in. On occasion, she dresses in cute, non-formal dresses, and beautifies herself now and then, however fashion is not her top priority.

OVERALL PERSONALITY:
Due to her father’s overbearing personality, Eve matured into a withdrawn and submissive young woman, wanting to appease others instead of herself. She is quiet, not speaking unless spoken to for the most part, afraid of saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. The twenty-two year old is self-conscious on a daily basis, unsure of herself, and constantly worrying about everything, she has said and done. Obviously, Eve is a people pleaser and will go to great lengths to satisfy her family and friends, sacrificing her own goals and dreams to make them happy. She has attempted to hold grudges and rebel against those who anger her in the past, but she usually lets go eventually, unable to resent the people closest to her. And although Eve will not standup for herself, she will standup for others, surprising herself by overcoming the limitations of her anxiety and displaying a bravery she did not know she possessed.
Overall, she is a decent individual, attempting to do what is right and learning from her mistakes, so she can become better person despite her flaws. Eve also maintains an optimistic outlook on life, even through the darkest of times, managing to see the light at the end of the tunnel, regardless of her transformation. Of course she has her moments, but she never gives up, and never will.

HISTORY:
Eve’s father, Matthew—who was a prestigious doctor employed at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, a Master of Surgery—and her stepmother, Rebecca, raised her since her birth. His occupation ensured a hefty paycheck, and Eve was fortunate enough to grow up in a well-to-do neighborhood, attending an affluent school system. However, her parents did not spoil her, Matthew favoring tough love, instead of pandering to his daughter’s wants and needs. From the day she was born, he began grooming her to follow in his footsteps, and eventually join the so-called family business. He did not coddle her, believing her mistakes would make her a stronger person, and that dealing with those who teased her throughout elementary, middle, and high school would simply improve her character in the long run. Though Matthew’s assumptions proved incorrect, as Eve became withdrawn, the stress stemming from her father’s formality and his high expectations, merely fueling her anxiety and OCD.
The first twenty-one years of her life were uneventful for the most part, and after graduating from college, she transferred to the Boston University School of Medicine, letting go of her own dreams to appease her father. She struggled with her classes, having to force herself to endure school despite it making her feel uncomfortable and taking a toll on her anxiety due to the subject matter—Eve having a serious phobia of blood and dislike of medication in general. It was on her twenty-second birthday when her world was turned upside down. Mysterious deaths began to occur in her vicinity, disturbing the locals. Eve did not pay much attention to the murders and she did not expect to be a target. One evening she was alone in the parking lot of a Walmart following closing hours, attacked by the criminal at large himself. She could not recall much of the struggle, the adrenaline and panic overwhelming any sensibility, although she still recalled his fangs. Unable to overpower her attacker, his strength unlike anyone she had ever encountered, she thought she would die.
Before he could kill her, a woman intervened, beheading the individual right in front of Eve’s eyes. She lost consciousness due to shock and the injuries she had sustained, only to awake in a hospital bed hours later. Still shaken from the incident, she was not prepared to find out that Rebecca was not her mother. Although, she would have preferred to remain in the dark, she overheard her rescuer and father talking to one another in hushed angry voices. Somehow, they were familiar with one another, which baffled Eve, but what came next stunned her further. This woman she had never encountered was her mother—her birth mother. Her name was Eden Carbonell and she had handed Eve over to Matthew in order to pursue her career of choice, which was hunting the supernatural; keeping the creatures that were referred to in ancient myths and urban legends at bay. At first, Eve wanted to believe it was a joke until she saw how serious her father was, and then she remembered the man’s fangs when he had tackled her to the ground. Eden told Eve he had been a vampire. A vampire. . .
Being assaulted, the fact Rebecca was not her real mother, and that vampires truly existed was too much to take in. Eve remained at the hospital until her injuries healed and her stress levels dropped, cared for by one of her father’s colleagues, Dr. Jacob Charbonneau. Eden visited her everyday, wanting to know her, but Eve was caught between a rock and a hard place—wanting to know her too, though hating Eden for abandoning her all those years ago. Matthew visited her briefly— not staying for long—and Eve only had Dr. Charbonneau when visiting hours were over. He was kind to her and charming, Eve falling for his good looks and delightful personality. She was enjoying his company more than Eden’s and more than Matthew’s, slightly disappointed when she was released from the hospital.
Things got as normal as they could get afterwards, Eve returning to school, and attempting to get to know Eden, her curiosity winning out much to Matthew’s chagrin. They met up at various places in Boston when Eve did not attend class. Eden wanted to learn more about Eve than wanting to answer her daughter’s questions, but Eve was determined to know everything or at least everything Eden was willing to talk about. She still resented Eden for leaving, though she understood that being a hunter was an important job, and a part of her admired her mother for doing what she did. After a week or two of spending time with each other, Eve decided she wanted to stay in contact with Eden, wishing they could be friends if not mother and daughter.
One day, Eden arrived at the De Luca doorstep bloodied and bruised. She told Eve that she had infiltrated a nest of vampires that had made Boston their home alongside two other hunters—they did not survive. Eve had been told that vampires were rare nowadays, but Eden was surprised by how large this particular nest was. Although, Eve wanted to bring Eden to the hospital, the older woman would not hear of it, so Eve bandaged the wounds herself. Eden did not hang about and Eve did not see or hear from her following Eden’s sudden departure; only having her phone number, which she refrained from calling for the time being, not wanting to cause any difficulties for her mother.
With Eden gone, life slowed down, allowing Eve to catch up with her friends, and everything she had missed out on. Though, the fun did not last. She may have left the hospital, but Eve had begun visiting her dad’s work on false pretenses just to see Dr. Charbonneau. They talked and even had lunch together on occasion in the cafeteria, seen spending a lot of time together. Meanwhile, Matthew observed his daughter around his coworker, and eventually told Eve to stay away from him. Her father did not care much for him for reasons unknown to her, but Eve did not listen to him. One night Dr. Charbonneau escorted to her car. Her heart pounded within her chest as he leaned forward, their faces inches from apart. Though instead of a chaste kiss, he bit her—hard.
In an act of revenge, the chief vampire of the Boston nest bit Eve, changing her into one of his own. Eden had murdered his mate and he wanted to make the hunter suffer by tainting her only daughter. Eve fled, attempting to keep her transformation hidden from her family and friends. Three days passed before she felt the need to thirst on human blood, hypersensitive to the crimson liquid as it pumped through their veins. She abstained from attending class or leaving her bedroom, afraid that she would succumb to the hunger. Matthew noticed his child’s change in behavior, furious that she was ditching school, and jeopardizing her future in the medical field. He harassed her continuously and Eve’s anger and frustration caused her to submit to her craving. Her father’s blood marked her first feeding in her new life, Eve sucking Matthew dry until he breathed his last breath. Rebecca walked in, drawing Eve from her reverie, and into reality, where she realized what she had done. She stared wordlessly up at Rebecca, her heart skipping a painful beat as Eve saw the look of horror on her stepmother’s face. Afraid that she would harm Rebecca, Eve departed her home in fear and shame.
She sought out her birth mother, considering Eden was accustomed to the realm of the supernatural, hoping she would be supportive, lending Eve a hand. Arriving at the motel he mother was lodging at, Eve confided in Eden, though the woman’s reaction was anything but understanding. Eden’s hunter instincts took over and Eve knew she was now a monster in her mother’s eye, even though she had been willing to bond with her estranged daughter a week prior to their reunion. Everything had changed—Eve had changed—and she no longer belonged in this world. She tussled with her mother, still clinging to life, in spite of her transformation. With her enhanced strength and agility, she managed to overpower Eden, injuring her in the process. Eve nearly gave into the thirst yet again as blood flowed from the elder woman’s lesions. Luckily, her hunger was not as strong subsequent to her last feeding, and Eve escaped before the yearning deepened, or before she died at the hands of her own mother.
With no one to turn to and nowhere to go, Eve returned to the man who had converted her for guidance. She confronted Dr. Jacob Charbonneau at the hospital, and she allowed herself to be consoled and cared for by the one she hated most. Reluctantly she chose to follow him, though she vowed never to partake in the drinking of blood ever again. Jacob is betting against her—he knows she will throw in the towel soon, and Eve worries that his assumption is correct.
