Philidelphia, Pennyslvania
It is about 6:30 pm, at the McCarther house. A young man sat in front of the television set, flipping through channels while his sister, a pretty girl with black hair and bright blue eyes walked inside. She has a plate filled with raveolis from the night before. The boy turned towards her now with one eyebrow raised. He doesn't understand why she bought the food out, despite their parents saying they can't eat out in the living room but he shrugged anyway knowing she wouldn't listen. The girl rolled her eyes too. "I wasn't going to eat in here, James," she told him, "I wanted to come out to let you know your girlfriend called. Sheesh." She walked back inside the kitchen afterwards with the food and sat down. "Wait, Amanda, she did?" he asked from the living room. "Yes!" she called out. She began to eat some of the food while her brother picked up the phone. As the girl began to eat, she heard scratches coming from the door. At first, she ignored it then the scratches got louder. She looked up. "Rex, stop that." The scratches continued. "Rex!" She got up and headed towards the door then opened it. However standing in front of her wasn't their German Shepard Rex, but something else. From the living room, James heard a high pitch scream. He got up and headed inside the kitchen. "Amanda?" he called out looking for his sister, "what's going on?" as he headed up to the open doorway he gasped loudly and rushed towards the phone. His sister is laying on the floor with a big gash on her stomach and is dead.
Guillaume had arrived at the house, just an hour after the killings taken place. The body of James McCarther was the last one taken out and there was already one other body on the stretcher. He wondered what was going on, who killed them? After he tricked the police thinking he was working for the police as a detective-his grandfather Pierre was actually one when he was younger) and went in, he studied the scene and looked up at the sky. Maybe he could get help. Maybe not. But whatever it is he has to find out what caused it. "Okay I know you can hear me, maybe some help would be nice?" he asked outloud. Call him crazy but he really doesn't feel stupid doing that.
OOC: Eh the last part is lame. LOL

Castiel was being paged, again. He didn't feel so much like a soldier, but more like an errand boy right now. He wasn't amused but he was going to do his job as he was told. The Winchesters were busy researching their latest case, something about an angry spirit was killing people. Castiel wasn't too certain on the details at the moment. The boys hadn't filled him in, and with good reason. They had just recently met him and were pouring over the fact that angels existed. They had not been men of great faith, a surprising thing in his eyes considering their line of work.
Either way he was told to meet another human, a hunter, well another hunter. For whatever reasons they needed his help a lot recently. Was this the same demon that he had been warned of before? Another hunter had come in contact with a vicious creature from the unending pit, maybe it was the same one. He appeared far off from the scene. The angel had his hands in his pockets for the moment and looked around at the flashing lights from the police. He needed to find the hunter. He knew there was one around here somewhere.
Castiel looked around, appearing quite lost in the current scene. He narrowed his eyes and spotted a figure inside the house. Castiel vanished from the spot where he was standing and appeared in the middle of the living room. He looked around, spotting blood on the floor. Whatever creature had been here, it left a mess. Castiel pondered as he looked at the pools of blood, overstepping them as he brought himself closer to Guillaume. Castiel's movements were silent, and even though he wasn't trying, he crept up on the hunter.
"Do you know what demon this is?" he asked, his voice gruff even in his questioning.

Suddenly a voice spoke right behind Guillaume. There were two things Guilli could do. One, he could just answer and knowing the person whoever he prayed to would talk to him or two feel his heart jump up to his throat cause they just appeared out of nowhere. Well obviously its not gonna be number one, because once Castiel spoke, Guillaume's heart had reached up to his throat. "Jesus!" Guillaume answered as soon as he spun around and obviously jumped. "Okay first," he replied in his French accent, "I may be new at this but there's something that is called personal space," he gestured with his hands as he spoke, "and the fact don't just creep up on someone, oui? I almost had a heart attack. Anyway uh where did you come from? I know I asked for help but I was asking you know, the dude up there," he pointed towards the ceiling with one finger, but hey he wouldn't mind Castiel's help just something, "but if you're the help I asked for then its better than nothing anyway don't answer that. However, I'll answer your question though." He paused, looking down towards the blood that was on the floor and on the doorway of the door that was opened. "I don't know, actually. I overheard the police talking about that whatever this was, left huge gashes on the victims' chests. Do you have any idea who would leave giant clawmarks? It wasn't like a werewolf though. They were much bigger than of that."

Castiel flinched a little as Guillaume said the name "Jesus." He shifted a bit and looked at the hunter as he turned around. The man was mistaken. His name was Castiel, not Jesus and he would let that be known in a matter of moments. The angel tilted his head slightly as he slowly became accustomed to the accent that Guillaume had. His head rested back in it's normal position. You are mistaken, I am not Jesus. My name is Castiel. I am an angel of the Lord. " he said shortly after the hunter almost jumped out of his skin.
As he listened Castiel looked at the distance between the two of them. There was only a few inches of air between them. Taking note, he took a few short steps backwards. He looked back at the hunter to see if the increased space was acceptable to the human or not. "My apologies," he said gruffly. "I did not 'creep up', as you said. I teleported here and walked forward. I believe walking is the normal mode of transportation when a vehicle is not involved..." he said as his voice drifted slightly toward the end of his sentence. He was still learning about humans.
"I do not sense that your cardiovascular muscle was in any state of extreme duress." he commented and then looked up toward the ceiling. His gaze returned back to the human, "There isn't another human in this household, I believe it is protocol for them to be removed from a scene such as this..."
Castiel did not catch the hint that Mr. Burnier was talking about God, certainly sense he had used the word "dude". He looked down at the pool of blood and frowned for a moment in thought. He shifted his weight and took in a breath as he mulled over the various monster species that had been known to exist on Earth in these times. Lots of creatures could have made those marks, and it was possible that another human had done this. Yet, considering Cas had been sent here, he highly doubted that idea. "I deal mostly with demons, but this looks like some other creature.."
This was not his area of expertise.

"Well, its an explaination, I know you're not Jesus. Jesus doesn't have short hair and a scruffy look, no offense. Anyway so just to let you know. Well you did something cause I didn't see you in front of me and its alright. I was just scared out of my skin cause someone spoke right behind me and I had no hell of a clue who did that, so yeah, my apologies," he added with a laugh. He wasn't being rude just surprised. "And face it you're not the only one. My siblings does it all the time." Its true, he usually gets that with Claudette. Darn her. And Percy too, he loves doing that. Well now Percy can do it to Pauline and Claudette since Guillaume isn't there right now. "My name's Guillaume. Anyway, thanks for answering my call, need some extra help with this. I came just about now to see what the hell is going on and I'm glad I did. I never seen a lot of blood like this before. I figure you're used to this?" he hoped he is or otherwise they both gotta do something. "Yeah well me too, this is the first case I ever did since I just began hunting not too long ago, with this creature. Maybe it is a demon, since, there's no footprints of any kind of animal." He looked back at the doorway, where near the first body was placed at and then something caught Guillaume's eye. He walked over to the spot of where the door is. There's four marks, clawmarks on the door but in a low part. "Hey Castiel, take a look at this," he answered as Guillaume still kept his blue eyes on it. OOC: Man I suck.

This human was strange. He was even further confused. Had this man met Jesus? Why did he get to meet Jesus? Castiel had not met him, and he was an angel. Maybe it was just another one of those expressions, he kept hearing about. Why were they not clear in their statements in the first place? God had created some strange creatures..Castiel took in a breath and pondered over theses things while Guillaume spoke.
While the hunter continued Cas went to looking around the house for clues. This mission was silly, in his eyes, but he would go through with it. He didn't disobey his superiors and he trusted that they knew what they were doing. He ran his fingers over the edge of the windowsill to see if there were any traces of sulfur lying around. He looked at his fingertips and his head lifted as the hunter called him over. He stepped over the puddles of blood and looked at the door.
"Demons don't use doors... he said softly. His brows were scrunched together in thought as he looked at the doorway. He had seen a mark like that while peering through the journal that Dean's father had made many years ago. "No, this is not a demon, and if it is..It's using something to do it's business for it.

"Yeah the question is," Guillaume replied back to the angel as he now stood fully back up, "why? I mean I don't get it. Creatures like these are normally not ones that demons would use so, why are they doing this though? And why scratching on the door? Unless if they were tricking them into opening the door." He sighed though as another thought come to it. "If only they knew...it looks like they had no choice. You know toss in some salt near the doors to protect them. But people don't know that there are things out there, things they can't explain. Now the real question is, how does a demon whoever did this, can be found? Have you seen anything like this? Surely there is a mark like that somewhere," he gestured towards the mark with his hand as he now turned towards the angel for any advice he can get. While he waited, a police officer walked in and took notice of the two men. "Excuse me," he said to Guillaume and Castiel, "but this is private property and a crime scene." Time for some old French charm. Guillaume turned away from his "partner" raising a finger up as if saying, "hold on a second" now towards the officer. He took out his badge (its a good thing someone helped him out to get a fake one) and said, "Detective Burnier, of the French police." He lowered the badge and tucked it in his back pocket. "I work along with the FBI one of the agents told me to check this place out and then let them know. This is one of the agents with me right now, assigned to help me out on this case." "Oh my apologies, Detective," the officer said. "Its okay. Its not the first time." Both men chuckled. "Um can you explain to me how the victims were killed?" "Well, the girl was found near the doorway, her back against the kitchen counter and the boy was killed in the doorway of the kitchen," Guillaume looked over at Castiel while the officer spoke, wondering if Cas ever heard of it, and then turned towards the officer again, "with multiple scratches, on their chest and faces. We do not know what killed them but they really had slashed them deeply." Another officer approached the man. "Excuse me." Then the officer walked off. Guillaume turned towards Castiel once more. "Okay this IS definately weird," he now told the angel. OOC: Eh I decided to have him go like how the boyz did but well its all good

Castiel had a large volume of information on various creatures, but he rarely accessed it. Castiel had never been a hunter, only a soldier for Heaven. He wasn't sure exactly why he had been sent here, but considering that he was drawing a few blanks on what the creature was...Maybe that was the reason. It would take him a few moments to pour over the internal volumes of information over creatures that roamed earth. It was not as detailed as John Winchester's journal, but it was useful enough for him. He wasn't sure how he was going to be helpful here.
He listened to the hunter speak for a moment as he looked over the entrance to the house. Castiel moved himself to another section of the home. He looked around, peering at the personal effects that he found somewhat strange. He frowned slightly as he picked a small figurine; which happened to be a sport award of some kind. He stared at it for a moment and then set it back down. He didn't understand why they needed such object laying around the house or their signification.
As he inspected the house while he filtered through the creatures in his mind. It was a jig saw puzzle and only some pieces would fit. He stared off into the distance, his eyes stuck to a spot on the wall where a fly had landed. As he watched the fly his mind narrowed down the possible creatures. He turned his head slightly as he heard G talk to the officers. He wasn't sure how an officer from another country would have jurisdiction, but then again, a lot of things humans did confused him. He wasn't going to ask questions now.
He wandered back over to where the hunter stood after he had spoken to the police. He invaded the man's personal space once more, not really caring if the officers heard them or not. "It's not a demon," he said gruffly. "It's a Rakshasa. That's why it clawed at the door." "They owned a canine, thus, why it clawed at the door. It has to be invited in..." he continued before moving back to the pools of blood where the bodies had once lain.

Cas had invaded his space but the hunter didn't care. He wanted to find a way to get rid of this creature, whatever it was, before it hurts someone else. In fact he could not forgive himself if it was indeed his own sisters and brother if it had happened to them so for the sake of the family who just lost two children and to protect others, he has to find it and stop it before it kills someone else. To Guilli, it didn't make sense. Why would it own a canine to claw at the door? Then it hit him. He walked over to Castiel and instantly he explained what he now pieced together, mostly from the angel's information. Its a good thing he was asking God for a little help here.
"Wait a second, you had just said something that really fits in the puzzle. Think about it, it used its dog as a distraction. You know like if you seen a puppy and you lure to it because its so cute. Once you see it, that's when you know its yours. Same with this creature, it probably had it to where they thought the dog was a lost dog and lets it in and then this Rakshasa comes in and kills them. So I wonder, how do I find it to stop it?"

Castiel was slightly confused. Had he just not stated what the creature’s species was and what action it took to get the human’s attention? Cas lifted his head a little and fiddled with a few objects in his pockets while he looked around the trashed surroundings of the home that he was standing in. Castiel’s face was quite stern at the moment, but then again, it rarely changed from that expression anyway when he was within any vessel. It was sort of his ‘normal’ expression.
Either way, at least he knew what had happened here. That gave him, peace of mind, if that was the right expression. He found…comfort, in knowing what they were facing now. “They are shape shifters. So finding it may be…difficult,” he said after a moment of thought while he recalled more information about the creature, “A dagger of pure brass can be used to kill them, but discovering it will be a challenge.”

"Damn it," he muttered to himself and he hoped that the angel didn't hear him because then he would have to explain what he meant by saying it. "Great, just what I need a shapeshifter to try to find and on top of that, a dagger of pure brass. So do you know where I could try to find one? I mean you said its a challenge right, so maybe you have any idea? Help me here, please, help me find these things, before anyone else gets hurt." Man he hoped so. In fact he's still new at this after all the only thing he dealt with was someone who took up his friend's form and tried to kill the man. That had started it off. "Forgive me for asking you that. Its just, I'm still new at this hunting thing so I think I need a little more push in order to get situated and used to this. I wasn't always a hunter." He looked down at the blood splattered floor and then looked up as CSI men and women survey the place. He wondered why the shapeshifter would come through the back maybe that was all part of the plan. The question now remains, how would he find it and would Cas help him find it?
OOC: YAY YOU'RE BACK I MISSED YOU!

Castiel was an angel of the Lord, but he was not known for being a member that worked in God’s armory. The angel turned his head to look at the human for a moment, his expression fairly blank, considering. “No…” he said dryly. He didn’t have one on him but an idea slowly came through to him. He continued pondering while the man went on talking. He didn’t need to plead. It was his job to help the human race, especially when it came to the destruction of monsters.
Maybe he was sent here because G was a new hunter. If the rumors from Heaven were true, the human race was going to need all the hunters that existed. This idea unsettled him a little bit. Past events did not bode well for the future. Still, they needed a weapon. “I do not know if there is a specifically made blade, but I think a piercing object made of brass would be useful just the same. That should make your job easier.”
Castiel walked toward the front of the house and through the open door. He looked around at the police that were still hovering at the abode. He studied them for a moment, trying to understand what they were doing.

"Hm..." Guillaume began to think. Does he have one? He probably does, maybe he has one in the car but haven't seen it. He thought it through then it hit him. Yes, he has to have it! Before he went out on this trip he had studied how to make something out of brass to use. There was some pieces of brass left in the car after he had gone out to get them from a nearby shop. With that he could make a weapon out of it, its a good thing he watched some shows on how to survive out in the wild. With those, he could make some handmade weapons and in this case, something to kill a shapeshifter with. "I can do that. Thanks Castiel," he told the angel. He was glad that he had answered his call. Speaking of Castiel, the angel was studying some of the officers. Guillaume smiled. "They're observing the crime scene and talking to witnesses, its part of being an officer," he told the angel, "though I don't know if they can do anything regarding the shapeshifters, since they're not entirely human, the suspects of course."

As the hunter thought his own ideas drifted around in his head. He had never experienced facing one of these creatures before. Of course there was always time for things, even if you were immortal. Still, being inexperienced…bothered the angel. It had been such a long time that it was foreign to him. Was this doubt he was feeling? Oh this was not good.
Castiel swallowed down that thought and continued to watch the humans to…pass the time. He shifted on his feet and turned back toward the house. He looked inside and watched Guillaume think for a moment. He could read minds, but he chose not to do such things unless there was a special situation that required it. Using those powers for his personal curiosity was unprofessional…and maybe even slightly evil.
He gave the slightest of nods as the man thanked him. He was being polite, but still, Castiel didn’t understand. He was just doing his job. His eyes drifted back to the humans for a bit. He knew that the officers were certainly not qualified to handle the supernatural situation that had caused this blood bath. It was interesting how humans were so in the dark to the world around them. Maybe they didn’t believe, and even if they did, they had little knowledge about the goings on about the world. It was, sad, in a way.
Maybe being in the darkness was the best and safest way for them to live. It would certainly leave a lot of things to be…uncomplicated.

The hunter excused himself while he walked out of the house, towards his car that is parked nearby. "Brass..." he repeated Castiel's words, even after he opened the trunk to look through his weapons-five guns, two knives, and some blades. Each he bought from a weapon store or even was provided to him by his father, who had some guns luckily in the house. "Brass! Found it," he said as he pulled out the blade from beneath some guns. He closed the trunk and locked it soon after then after he stuffed his keys into his pocket, he walked back towards the house. "Castiel," he replied to the angel as soon as he entered the house and approached him, "would this work?" he showed him the blade which is about the size of a big kitchen knife. It has brass on it along with a carving of an angel with black wings. He had carved it himself when he was bored one day. Perhaps it would work. Though however, this is his very first time hunting down a skinwalker so he hoped it'd work-for the sake of those out there that doesn't know of these things and that they won't end up like the McCarther siblings. "So, do I set a trap? I have some items in the car perfect for it. I suppose you don't wish to tag along for the hunt, yes? If you do I surely don't mind a bit. I wouldn't mind for some company."
