- Teleportation
- Invulnerability to harm from means that would kill a human.
OVERALL PERSONALITY: To those who come across him, Samael comes across as a kind, suave gentleman with an empathic personality about him, and a sincere understanding of human emotion. In short, he acts in the way that most people would perceive an angel if you never met one. However, that is just if you meet him for the first time and do not know the real him. In reality, those that are aware of Samael’s demonic nature, know his darker attitude. However even then, manages to keep a sort of confidence about him. That changes also, the more irritable he becomes. Once enraged, he is a force to that should be reckoned with, often resorting to his own powers and torture to get what he wants. Despite such a wicked temper, he is a perfectionist towards keeping a secret on things, such as plans and issues happening with him.
• • THERE'S A BAD MOON ON THE RISE,
don't go around tonight
HISTORY: Before he was Cain, Samael was at one point a very powerful Angel of the Lord. While the Archangels could easily be considered the Generals of Heaven’s army, in the Heiarchy of Angels Samael was roughly the equivalent of a Colonel in the Heavenly Host. He was powerful as he was revered by his underlings and loved equally as he loved his own brothers and sisters. When Lucifer rebelled, and sides were taken between the Archangel and his rebels and the others of the Heavenly Host, Samael was one of few angels that could not bare to take sides, as his love for his family was absolute. Once Lucifer was cast from Heaven along with other Angels, Samael’s heart broke for his fallen family. So much so, that he ripped out his grace to try and stop the pain. However, rather than die from it, he fell to earth at an amazing speed in which his grace took the form of a tree, and he was reborn in the form of the third human to exist: Cain. His memories of Heaven were erased, and he grew up, unknowing who or what he once was, unaware that he was ever an angel.
Time went on, and Adam and Eve conceived Abel as well. Both Cain and Abel grew up together, soon having children and a family of their own. Life was good for Abel and his family, but not for Cain’s. While Able sacrificed much of his best livestock to God, Cain sacrificed a petty amount of his crops to God, which did not earn him favor of the Heavenly Host. Jealous that his brother and his family would prosper while himself and his own family suffered, Cain heard the voice of a lady tell him to strike his brother down, and Cain obeyed the voice. When Cain realized what he had done, he tried to desperately revive his dead brother, but to no avail. Furious that another of his creations had committed a terrible act of evil, God struck Cain down, casting him into Hell. As Cain fell deeper and deeper into the pit, he felt his human body become wracked in pain unlike any he ever knew. Torn to pieces by the wrack of the Pit, and screaming constantly for help, but never finding any.
Like it had done to Lilith, Hell corrupted Cain. Hundreds of years passed on Earth but in Hell, they passed like thousands of years. Tormented by Lilith, the only demon in Hell at the time, she made Cain watch from Hell as his family mourned his brother’s death, and curse his name. Even so, his memories returned of once being an angel returned to him, making him realize so much more as to what he was. Over and over again, he was tortured and tormented until the last of his own humanity was burnt out of him, and he was no longer the human he once was. Rather, he was now something far, far worse than a murderer. His grace gone, Cain chose to return to using his name, Samael and biding his time deep within the pit of Hell until his time would come again and he can rise up for his own master plan. A time when he would be destined to be freed from the pit, alongside Lilith, and stalk amongst the rest of the world and wait for a time when everyone would worry about Armageddon, and not of Samael. A sinister plan is brewing within Samael’s mind to gain more power than any demon, or angel has imagined. Now, the Samael of lore was born. The demon that was known for the corruption of innocence in the world. One that was once revered, but now feared for his ferocity until he, like Lilith and Alastair, were locked deep within the Pit until a time would come when Azazel would free him and his brethren from the Devil’s Gate.
Since his freedom, Samael has set his sights on something different. Something very sinister.

EXPERIENCE: Seven Years
WHERE DID YOU FIND US: Proboards (Tia showed me)
ROLEPLAY SAMPLE: OOC: I know that this must be done with a canon character, and my character is not a canon but I REALLY want to prove that I can be responsible with a powerful demon like Samael and want to be able to play him.Too long had he been trapped within the Pit. Too long had he had to watch from the bowels of Hell as humanity rose from within the darkness surrounding it to make the world that exists today. So far did they fall from the righteous love of God, to sinful, wicked creatures. How they found a way to believe that God doesn’t exist, and to find a way to make themselves feel better about going to Hell. They said that the greatest trick that the Devil ever pulled was making people believe that he and God did not exist, but God has been missing for a century and Lucifer can hardly influence jack from within his cage. Sure, Samael knew that all changed when Lucifer was released, but how much good did that do him? He found himself locked back up in the Cage, and now Samael was free to do what he wished, without any higher commands telling him otherwise. Even Heaven was in a state of unrest now that their Viceroy was locked in the Cage with his brother. These Winchesters made it all too easy for Samael to not lift a finger, and Crowley, being the good little Crossroads Demon that he was, did more of the work for Samael. While they worried about returning Lucifer to the Pit, Samael was restoring his original human body, bringing it to full life, he could possess it. What better a place to keep it, than with himself?
This whole ordeal that ranged from the moment Samael was reincarnated into Cain, to the events of the past year, flowed through the demon’s mind as he sat in a bar in Austin, Texas. The imported beer in his hand tasted funny, not unlike the American beer, but it had a bit of a kick to it. There was a smell of kerosene filling the bar, and corpses filled the entire room from when Samael entered and slaughtered everyone in the bar. He sat within the stench of the bar, drinking his beer, and listening to a song by some country singer about not breaking his achy breaky heart play on the jukebox. Somehow, even after having someone’s head crash through it, the mechanical contraption still managed to play. The miracles of human technology. It was enough to make Samael chuckle as he drank his beer in silence. That silence was broken though, when a demon came in, to inform Samael that they may have found what he was looking for, and it was in Virginia.
“Well, giddyap partner, let’s go to Virginia.” Samael said in a mocking tone of how he thought Texans were supposed to speak, taking the cowboy hat off the head of one dead body and the trench coat off another. As he walked out the door, he took a zippo lighter within the inner pocket of the coat, lit it, and threw it on the ground. The bar quickly caught ablaze as the demon left towards his destination of Richmond, Virginia.
