OVERALL PERSONALITY:
STUBBORN!
Jo is the type that once her mind is made that is that. She knows what she wants and she goes for it. You can't change her mind no matter how hard you try and most figure that out quickly. She'll argue with you if you try too and she won't stop, well unless you are her mother but even then she might just argue. Jo knows what she wants and she'll go after it no matter what.
BRAVE!
Jo is a brave girl and that will probably be the death of her one day. She isn't afraid of most things. Yes she gets scared don't get her wrong, she knows there are things to be scared of out there, still she is brave. Even if she is terrified she is a brave kinda girl.
OPINIONATED!
This pretty little blonde isn't like most of them, she actually has a mind of her own. Jo has opinions and thoughts and you best believe she is not afraid to express them. Sometimes people don't really like the words that come out of her mouth but she isn't really good at holding back. Sometimes she says nice things sometimes she doesn't. At least people don't walk all over her.
SWEET!
It sounds crazy and possibly down right hard to believe for most but Jo has her sweet side. It isn't like her to show this side because she feels like it makes her vulnerable and that just isn't how she wants to be portrayed but if you catch her on a good day you might just see this sweet side of hers that is rarely seen.
WITTY!
Jo has a sharp tongue and she isn't afraid to use it. She is always quick to snap something or say something to anyone. Mostly guys that hit on her or bitchy women get it. You'll learn if you make her seem easy or you don't show her respect she won't hold back. Sometimes though it is just playful banter, harmless bickering.
• • THERE'S A BAD MOON ON THE RISE,
don't go around tonight
HISTORY: Joanna Beth Harvelle was born twenty five years ago to William and Ellen Harvelle. She is an only child who always loved her dad. Growing up she didn't see much of him because he was always out on the hunt but that didn't make her any less of what you could call a daddy's girl. Then one day he didn't come home. It was hard for her to lose him even though she was so young it still made a big impact. It hurt and to be honest the pain hasn't stopped yet but she won't let you know.
Jo grew up working at a bar her mom owned, figuring out how to work knives and shot guns in the mean time. Hunters came through the bar all the time and she figured out lots of tricks to the trade. She wants to be a hunter but her mom makes a big deal so its kinda hard for her to get out there but she can. She has been known to sneak off after Dean and Sam to hunt, much to everyones dislike that is. She was finally told why her father died and how and it floored her to be honest. She has finally gotten use to it though. Over it at least. Now she just drives her mom up the wall with worry but going off on little hunts of her own when she can.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE: Working at a bar always seemed to have its downfalls, or so Jo thought as she watched a drunk man knock over his beer. She grabbed the broom and dust pan before making her way over to the table. She kept her jaw clenched as she swept the mess of broken glass up into the dust pan. The man was trying to say his apologies but his voice was too slurred to really understand half of what he said. Jo was used to this kind of thing by now though so all she did was give him a small smile and walked off. Dumping the contents into the trash, she eyed the bar, looking for anyone she might actually recognize.
Jo walked around the bar mostly, cleaning tables here and there that needed to be cleaned. Then some grizzly looking man walked in and the first thing she heard was 'get me a beer'. Without even giving him a second look, the blonde walked to the bar, grabbing a beer and carrying it over to him. She was used to rude men but this guy didn't even say thank you. Turning sharply on her heel, she started to make her way back to the bar before hearing a conversation about demons being somewhere near. She stopped for a moment and as bad as it was she stayed to listen.
Jo smiled as she walked back to the bar. She had lovely information but no one to share it with. It was times like this she wished she had the Winchesters on speed dial. Of course they wouldn't let her go along with them so on second thought maybe it was a good idea she didn't have them on speed dial. Jo walked over towards her mom and leaned in towards her. "Hey mom I'm going to go out and get some peanuts from the back I'll be back in a minute." she told her. With that she made her way to walk outside of the bar. Jo looked around the premisses for a moment before walking over to an area that she knew held weapons she would need.
The girl grabbed a shot gun, rock salt filled shells, and patted her pocket to make sure her knife was with her. She locked up the area again and then made her way to the car that belonged to her mother. Once started she was off and ready to go. Jo didn't stop to think twice as she sped off from the bar, leaving a trail of dust behind her. The way she saw it, this was her way to show her mother and everyone else that she could make it as a hunter. She wanted so badly to gain the respect she wanted and to be taken seriously. Joanna knew she could do this but no one else was supporting her along the way and that is what she needed. She had no plans on winding up like her father had. This was her way of showing that to them and she had plans on surviving and rubbing it in her moms face as well as both Winchester brothers. Her way of saying I told you so. Jo also knew her mom would realize she hadn't come back yet and be calling. For that reason, her phone was now on vibrate and she prayed that the woman would at least give her time to set up a plan and kill the ghost before she called.
