Gwen nodded glad that they were getting to the point. It was easier to do this with when they were focused and on task. Some of the hunters she had partnered up with had contented themselves with staring at her breasts or trying to grope her- it was such a relief to be working with a girl for once.
“I have no idea how much their numbers have grown so I was thinking we could trap one of them on its own to question it. Then we can go from there and come up with a suitable strategy. What do you think?” She crossed her arms, rubbing at them in a vain attempt to calm herself down. Although she didn’t show it (except for that one nervous tick) Gwen was not all that eager to have to deal with the vampires again. They had nearly done her in already but she had to calm down.
Two heads were better than one and having Shiloh on her side would keep her safer than before. Gwen just had to keep telling herself that.

"Seems like a plan, but where and how are we going to find a lone vampire wandering around on its own? They usually tend to stick close together. " Shiloh asked as the thought over the plan that Gwen had suggested. It seemed plausible, but like she had said the only part of that plan was actually finding a vampire to trap and kidnap. The only time any of them left the safety of their coven was to find victims and feed on them. But even then they traveled in a small group to protect themselves, while she and Gwen were only two young women. Not that she thought that the two of them were incapable of the job, but she was trying to be realistic. If she knew anything about jobs like this, she knew that very rarely did anything go over smoothly. Most of the time the plans never transferred over from paper into real life exactly. Thankfully for her she was able to think quick on her feet and able to escape most of the jobs without any major injuries aside from a few bump, bruises, and cuts.[/blockquote]

Gwen pondered for a minute, putting a finger to her lip and pacing. She then smiled over in Shiloh's direction with a nod of assurance. "Maybe we can stalk a small group of them and set up a trap in order to seperate one from the main group?" It was a simple idea but with some careful planning and more details it could possibly work. "We might have to do it at night, however, considering that's when they're most active but I think we could do it and handle one vamp between the two of us."
Gwen could already tell that Shiloh was a tough girl despite still maintaining her girlish pretty features and style. She was someone you could depend on in a tight spot and for once the angel was glad to have found a fellow hunter. The other times she had paired up with some of the rougher male hunters she had been nervous because they eyed her rather undauntedly and it wasn't very pleasant.

Thinking over the suggested plan Shiloh involuntarily played with a silver ring that was on her ring finger on her right hand. She slowly spun the plain band around in a circle as she thought it over. It was probably the most logical plan that there was to finding a vampire, but at the same time she was not entirely sold on the idea of the two of them trying to stalk a small group of them. But there was a chance that they could make it work.
"How good are you with a machete?" she asked as she wanted to gauge the young woman's abilities before running out into the field and waiting until then to find out. "I only have an extra machete since I've never been able to get my hands on a sword of any kind. So if we do go through with this, that's the only thing you'll have to behead any vampires."
Even though their plan was to only shadow the vampires it was always inevitable that they would need or have to kill at least a vampire or two to keep their cover intact. Besides it was safer to be prepared just in case than for the two of them to be caught unaware.

Gwen wanted to smirk as pride welled up in her gut and reinforced her good vibes concerning the mission. She had chosen her partner well. This girl could definitely hold her own and perhaps they may be able to work together. Though her reactions were so human it almost surprised her. The urge to smirk was just another involuntary reaction...she really was becoming like them. It filled her with a gentle happiness though she wondered how long she would truly be an angel.
She went back on her heels a bit, lacing her fingers behind her back as she smiled. "I'm excellent with a machete." The good thing about having a hunter as an ex was that she had practiced extensively with most fire-arms and blades. James had been so overprotective of her the first time she went on a hunt with him. But-she pushed those thoughts aside as they were useless at the moment. And he was no longer the man she had loved.
"So, it's a plan?" Almost curiously, Gwen realized that the girl had been the most helpful partner she had had. Unlike the men who wished to take charge and do things solely their way Shiloh was open to ideas and helped add onto them instead of shooting down her suggestions like they were worthless. It was...a very nice change.

"Sure why the hell not." Shiloh told her finally resolved to agree to the whole plan, though a very tiny part of her want to just walk away from the whole vampire thing. She reminded herself that it was a good to always make new job contacts, she would never know when they would come in handy. Especially if and when she landed herself in some deep trouble and needed help to bail her ass out. Which thankfully for her was never very often.
It was somewhat comforting to hear that her new to-be partner for the current job could at least handle a blade, which would be needed. As it meant less time for her to worry about the other woman possibly hurting herself with such a large blade by accident. The last thing she needed was to be running around with a green horne who was more of a liability than a help. She made her want to shudder as she remembered a particular job when she had to deal with that. It was not pretty but at least it did not end in too much bloodshed.
"So exactly when and where do we meet? Since we're obviously going to need to stock up on a few choice items to help give us the advantage of those shilmulo." she said nearly spitting the word out and only realizing a moment later what she had said. She played it off as if she had meant to say it instead of letting it slip. Though she reminded herself that she had to be careful about not giving away clues to her not so normal upbringing.

Gwen had to keep the pretense of still being joyful. Shiloh’s reaction was a bit…well, not hesitant but not what she had been hoping for. Humans were still a bit odd to her sometimes and their reactions could be pretty hard to understand. Shiloh seemed nice enough but she was turning out to be just like the other hunters she dealt with- a little impatient and wanting the hunt to be over with. Not that hunters didn’t like their jobs…it was just a tough living.
She felt her hands close into fists and then she relaxed them, clenching and unclenching them a couple of times. It was a silly habit but it calmed her down when she was uncomfortable or uneasy in any way. Despite Shiloh’s tough kick-ass attitude the girl was helping her so Gwen tried to forget her misconceptions.
“I was thinking tomorrow night. It’ll give us enough time to get the equipment together and rest up so we’ll be full of energy.” A night and half a day to ready themselves. It was reasonable enough and wasn’t as ridiculous as them waiting a couple days or more when innocent lives were at stake. “This bar isn’t safe anymore since they’ve seen us here. Or at least that one did.” Russian. She had just spoken a Russian word but seemed rather put off by it so the angel didn't mention it. Gwen nibbled at her lower lip before giving off another smile. Being friendly helped. Even if Shiloh didn’t trust her at least it helped keep Gwen’s own nerves down. “Do you know the little coffee shop off the main street that leads out of town?” Margie’s Grotto. Small, relatively clean and it was deserted enough that the vampires wouldn’t be interested in it. The theme was strange and ridiculously full of mystical crap that wasn’t even truly supernatural like fake psychics but the coffee was good too.

Shiloh’s mood didn’t improve when she heard that their safety might have been compromised thanks to the vampire they had run off. A tiny part of her was sad that she wasn’t going to get to come back to that particular bar, but it wasn’t the end of the world for her. She took a deep breath and dragged herself mentally back to the task at hand.
"Coffee shop near the edge of town? Da, I think I know the one you're talking about." she said as she recalled passing by a little shop when she had entered the town. She had only glanced at it in passing but she was fairly certain that she could find her way to it. "Are we planning on meeting up there sometime?" The only reason she could think of for the shop to be brought up was that it was probably going to be a meet up point for the two of them. Whether it was before or after they gathered supplies she didn't know.
