OVERALL APPEARANCE:
The hunter is a curvy young woman with an apparent hourglass figure. Eli is not as slender as both models and actors are perceived to be, however the physical labor hunting entails helps her to maintain a hale and hearty appearance. She stands approximately at five feet and five inches, weighing a healthy one hundred and thirty pounds.
Her hair falls in delicate waves of golden tresses, often flowing over her shoulders due to her lack of interest where her appearance is concerned. The blonde locks frame the subtle contours of her face, contrasting adequately with the fair complexion of her skin. Her most notable facial feature is her eyes, which are a vivid shade of green, outlined by thick flaxen lashes.
Eli’s attire is simple and easy to maneuver within while hunting. Usually she wears both long-sleeved shirts and jeans—even in spite of warm weather—to conceal the numerous scars she has obtained from hunting; her most prominent scars being three rose colored claw marks on her neck and a stark white blemish pulling at the corner of her lips.

OVERALL PERSONALITY:
Eli is an extremely independent young woman. She prefers to travel alone in order to keep her colleagues out of harm’s way, and she lacks proficient social skills due to her sheltered childhood, which inhibits her from carrying a conversation or forging new relationships. The hunter manipulates her solitude, making use of her free time to hunt whenever she so desires. She only consults an individual while investigating a case—strictly business. When Eli does speak, she is straightforward, favoring the harshness of reality to the false reassurance of a lie, and does not regret her blunt nature.
She tends to utilize her sense of sight, smell, and hearing, to thoroughly observe her surroundings. Her occupation has taught her to never let her guard down, so she remains vigilant, dissecting any and everything, even if it may prove to be insignificant. Despite Eli’s watchfulness, she will resort to human instinct instead of analytical thinking when desperate times call for desperate measures.
The hunter feels extremely uncomfortable displaying her emotions and upholds a stoic demeanor. She rarely loses her composure even during life-threatening or mindboggling situations. Her isolation from others has impeded her ability to properly socialize and she is unable to adequately convey her feelings to those around her, thus causing her to suppress them.

HISTORY:
On April 3rd, 1974, Eli was born to David and Abigail Cross. Her parents were both experienced hunters—David hailing from a prosperous hunting family, who had been in the business for decades, while Abigail crossed the threshold into the supernatural subsequent to an unfortunate encounter with a shapeshifter. Eli was raised in a wealthy household, introduced to the paranormal at an extremely young age. Her education and social life was often pushed aside, so she could focus on maturing into a worthwhile hunter. Instead of attending public school, she was home schooled, and by the time she was ten Eli had worked alongside her father; David adamant that she begin sooner than later. Eli became engrossed in religion, folklore, and both ancient and urban mythology. Due to her lack of interpersonal relationships and pastimes, she forged an unhealthy relationship with the supernatural.
Eleven years following Eli’s birth, her sister, Hannah, was brought into the world. Abigail quit hunting permanently in order to care for their youngest daughter. She too was compelled to be trained in the dodgy lifestyle of a hunter, and Eli frequently assisted her sibling with her studies and on hunts. However, Hannah had poor health since birth and the constant hunting exhausted her as well as caused numerous hindrances while on assignment. Although, David grew frustrated with Hannah’s fragility, accusing her of willingly impeding the task at hand—which strained the already weak bond between father and daughter—Eli defended Hannah and diligently protected her, keeping her out of harm’s way.
Eli and Hannah were inseparable, their friendship continuing to strengthen over time. Though, their paths eventually diverged. Eli was set upon traveling down the road of a hunter, while Hannah yearned for an ordinary, paranormal free, life. In spite of their father’s protests, Hannah enrolled in public school and became absorbed in the normality of high school. Their differences created tension among them, Eli feeling abandoned by her sister as well as best friend. After the rift, Eli enveloped herself in the supernatural, developing into a workaholic; she had been taught hunting was her purpose in life and it was the only thing she had ever known outside the confines of her own family—the only thing she had left to turn to.
She primarily worked unaccompanied, on occasion hunting alongside her father or longtime business associates of her parents. Eli traveled across the country, prepared to drive wherever and whenever duty called. Preferring not to idle, she refrained from visiting home often and grew accustomed to motels or staying the night in her vehicle. Ultimately, Abigail gave birth to a son, Caleb, who Eli hunted along with after David suffered a life-debilitating wound and was forced to retire; their relationship copied that of a teacher and her student.
Days, months, and years passed by, and Eli’s repetitive lifestyle transformed drastically upon receiving word of her sister’s life-threatening illness. Medical personnel were incapable of curing Hannah and they estimated her time was unbearably short. Unable to cope with her sister’s untimely demise, Eli has chose to go against her principles and sell her soul in order to rescue her sibling.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:
Night had settled on the town. Up above the stars gleamed like diamonds, the moon casting its pale glow on the streets below. Eli halted at the curb, craning her neck in order to peer down the long stretch of road as the lights to her Cadillac faded into the darkness. Sighing, she wiped the sweat from her face; the wintry breeze pleasant against her skin. Catching her breath, she sprinted after the runaway vehicle, shaking the snow from her boots and shedding her coat.
She had been investigating a peculiar incident that had transpired approximately three days ago, questioning the locals who had been bystanders—assembling the pieces to complete the puzzle. The young woman had left her Cadillac in the parking lot for approximately ten minutes. When she returned the car drove away on its own accord. It kept just out of arms reach, allowing her to get into close proximity only to speed off before her fingers had the chance to touch its cool surface.
The hunter had lost track of time since the game of cat and mouse began, her muscles taut and aching, lungs burning as she continued to pursue the runaway vehicle. It obviously wanted Eli to follow in its tracks, her curiosity fueling her determination to keep up.
Eli came to an abrupt halt. The Cadillac sat silently across the street, the subtle rumbles of the motor echoing in her ears; hastily she darted onto the pavement. Two beams of light immediately flooded her vision, virtually blinding her.
A car was flying directly toward her.
