OVERALL APPEARANCE:
Margaret is very tall but also very lean, and sometimes hunches over because she is self-conscious about her height. Her skin is very pale though it used to be more tan when she was human and more outgoing. She has gentle eyes, a sad smile and has freckles all over her face and body.
She generally wears simple clothes in very drab colors such as black, brown and grey to avoid standing out and being noticed.

OVERALL PERSONALITY:
Margaret is shy and avoids other people. She hates what she has become but tries to make the best of the situation- traveling from place to place to keep safe and keeping herself reoccupied with her studies and research. She is gentle and would never even hurt a fly, and only drinks cattle-blood because she has to-and to keep from hurting others.
She is not very good at dealing with others- stuttering and quickly frightened if in large crowds. Margaret is a gentle sort of person and hates being a vampire. Margaret spent most of her mortal life bullied so she wants to treat others with the respect she never had. She doesn't want to become a bully like the rest just because of her bad experiences.
Since becoming a vampire Margaret is even more closed off from the world than before. Margaret had always been gentle and kept to herself (an intensely introverted personality) but now even talking to people with only a few words is something she can't stand and even fears.

HISTORY:
Margaret was not made a vampire with her knowledge. As a human she had been very interested in the occult and was almost obsessive with her research- believing that the supernatural creatures of myth were actually out there. She was ostracized by her peers and bullied horrendously for all of her years in high school.
When she finished high school and went to work on her farm to help support her family she was approached by a stranger one day who told her he could make all her worries disappear.
This vampire led her to his coven and promised her that she would be able to make everyone who had ever hurt her pay. Not knowing what she was getting into Margaret trusted him without question and he turned her into a vampire.
At first, although Margaret wasn't pleased being a vampire she dealt with it and tried to get closer to those in her coven but she ended up becoming the runt out of the group. Because of her compassion from others Margaret was ostracized from the group and tormented even worse than she had been as a human in school.
Ever since then she has cursed the day she was “unborn” and has avoided people and any other creatures of the night at all costs. Margaret broke away from the coven just before a group of hunters wiped it out. She now travels from place to place to avoid being an easy target for hunters and just wishes to be left alone because she drinks cattle blood and doesn’t bother anyone.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:
Margaret still wasn’t used to going out. She liked to pay for her motel room and then spend her days researching in the comfort of the space alone- leaving all the lights off and enjoying the darkness. But at times she had to make it seem like she was a normal person. People in these small towns always grew suspicious whenever she didn’t come out to any of the local places to eat. She would order something small along with some coffee and eat whatever it was even though the taste disturbed her.
She flinched when she thought the waitress was going to approach her again to ask her how her meal had been but the woman merely gave her a weird look and went to the next table. Margaret sighed in relief.
