• • THERE'S A BAD MOON ON THE RISE,
don't go around tonight
HISTORY: Lisa Braeden was a yoga instructor with a spunky personality and a party side when she was younger. One weekend she came along a man by the name of Dean Winchester, they had a fun weekend one that she described as "the best night of her life" and one that Dean described as a "bendy weekend". Lisa never forgot that night and always wished she could have gotten to know the man better but he mysteriously left the next day. After that event Lisa didn't see much of Dean. Lisa became a single mother not long after that. She had a beautiful baby boy who she named Benjamin. Taking care of her son Ben for 8 years is hard on a single mother. Worrying about the bills and whether there will be food on the table everyday. But Lisa has been doing well. She keeps her job as a Yoga Instructor as well as waitressing part time down at a local diner.
One day, which happened to be Ben's 8th birthday, Dean Winchester showed up on her doorstep. Lisa was dumbstruck. Here was this amazing man she hasn't seen in years just showing up at her door. Lisa invited him in and when he did the math in his head and came to the conclusion on his own that Ben might be his. He sees the striking resemblance, especially noticing the joy for his new AC/DC CD, the way he eats his sandwich, and the race-car birthday cake. Lisa soon denied this to him. She told him she didn't know who his father was. Dean saved her son from changelings and right after that he explained to Lisa his lifestyle. He told her about all the things that go bump in the night and that him and Sam hunt them down. Lisa was very understanding and accepting of it all and she asked Dean to stay after she saw how much he and Ben bonded. Dean reluctantly declines saying that this isn't his life.
But what Dean didn't know when he got involved with Lisa was the reason why she was so understanding and accepting of his lifestyle. Lisa had already had run-ins with demons and creatures. She already knew how to shoot a gun and defend herself. Her brother had come to her one day in the dead of night. The government had actually captured a werewolf and a vampire and had been doing experiments on them. They had been trying to cross the bloodlines of both creatures. But it all went wrong and the creature they created had gotten loose. Michael, Lisa's brother, had tried to save all his fellow brothers in arms but failed. He got out and went to his family for help. He asked Lisa to help him track the thing down and kill it. Being family she had told him she would help. Together they tracked it down and eventually her brother killed it. After that she has been helping her brother track things down. She doesn't go into the fights very often but she is an expert tracker. So when Dean showed up and his lifestyle became apparent she wasn't at all surprised.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE: "Carry on my wayward son. There'll be peace when you are done. Lay your weary head to rest. Don't you cry no more. Once I rose above the noise and confusion. Just to get a glim-"
Her hand shot out from underneath the comforter and slammed down on the snooze button of her alarm clock. She hated that song. It reminded her of the past. Lisa pushed her blankets aside, stretched her arms above her head, and yawned. The sun started to peek above the trees as it slowly rose in the sky. Lisa walked across to her yoga mat and slowly did her morning stretches. It was a routine for her. Everyday. Once she was finished she jumped in the shower and got ready for the day. On her way down to the kitchen she stopped at her son, Ben's, room. She opened the door and made her way across the room to the blinds. She pulled the string and sunlight streamed though into the room. Ben threw an arm over his eyes as the light hit him in the face.
"Mom!"
"Time to get up, Ben. What do you want for breakfast?"
"I don't care just give me five more minutes."
"No now. You have school in an hour."
Ben groaned as he threw is blankets back over his head. He was so stubborn. Just like....no! She wouldn't think of him. She shook her head and went down stairs to the kitchen. She started making eggs and bacon. A good fifteen minutes went by and Ben still wasn't down stairs. Lisa walked over to the stairs and yelled up.
"Come on, Ben! Your breakfast is getting cold!"
"I'm coming, Mom!"
Ben came flying down the stairs. His back pack flying behind him. He dropped it on the counter and sat down to eat his food. Lisa leaned against the counter sipping at her coffee. She had another hour and a half before she had to be at work. She watched Ben scarf down his food and a smile came to her lips. This was what she lived for. She walked over and kissed Ben on the head then started to smooth out his hair. It was always a mess. A horn sounded and she looked up to see the school bus sitting outside. Ben got up and kissed her on the cheek good bye then ran outside.
She slammed the door of her car shut and locked it. It had been an hour since Ben left for school and she had to be at work. Lisa walked across the street toward the small restaurant she worked at. She had been waitressing there for some time now as well as still teaching yoga. It payed the bills so she wasn't complaining. As she walked the hair on the back of her neck stood up. She stopped and looked around. Across the street were two tall, burly looking guys watching her. She looked at them for a bit then they turned and walked away. Weird. She thought to herself. She brushed it off and walked into the small restaurant. It was time for work.
