OVERALL APPEARANCE:
The demon’s current vessel is that of a middle-aged business man. Standing at five feet ten inches, Crowley is usually exceeded in height by the majority of the men he encounters as well as a select few women. He is not slender and can be considered to be somewhat overweight, especially in the face and stomach; however, his demonic abilities compensate for his lack of muscle strength. His hair is obviously receding, and he prefers a bit of stubble.
Crowley’s wardrobe consists primarily of business attire: suits, button-down shirts, and intricately designed ties. His tint of choice is various shades of black, though he enjoys a trace of color, which is usually present within his selected tie. He favors simplistic apparel and does not partake in accessorizing with his clothing.
Appearance does not rank high on his list of priorities and he can care less about the opinions of others concerning his vessel’s physical exterior.

OVERALL PERSONALITY:
Like all demons, Crowley is a sadistic individual, who appears to care only for himself. Due to his dog eat dog world outlook, he relies on no one and is a rather independent man, who is always confident in what he does. Challenges entertain him and he will overcome any and all obstacles before him in order to achieve his goals, no matter how unattainable they appear to be. He does not pursue an idea without thoroughly thinking things through—a stickler for both detail and organization—, however he is prepared to be caught unawares, making certain he has a backup plan incase his strategy goes awry.
Despite his sadistic nature, the King of the Crossroads is fond of teasing his victims, known to be witty, and having penchant for inserting humor where it is most inappropriate. He is greatly entertained when making the men he forges agreements with uncomfortable by the physicality that a deal entails when sealed and never misses a chance to do so. Crowley enjoys watching them squirm in his presence and the awkward atmosphere he so effortlessly creates merely boosts his ego.
While he does not like to get his hands dirty, he only resorts to physical violence when need be, though he is not deterred by needless bloodshed. Usually he turns to his vindictive way with words—which can be as sharp and painful as a knife—, ensuring his demands by unmentionable threats and verbal abuse.

don't go around tonight
HISTORY:
Crowley was born in the year of 1661 in Scotland, then known by the name of Fergus Roderick McLeod. He lived an ordinary life, marrying a woman when of age. His occupation was that of a tailor, which proved to be a rather tedious job that paid enough to support his family. Eventually, he and his wife grew apart. Crowley struggled to maintain their relationship; however his spouse was uninterested in her husband and began to fool around with men both more attractive and more successful than the ”two-bit” tailor.
Aware of his partner’s affairs, Crowley developed into a miserable, dispassionate man, preferring to engulf himself in his work instead of dealing with his unpleasant marriage. In a last attempt to gain his wife’s affections, he called upon a demon, desperate enough to sell his soul for a few inches below the belt; his deal was of no value in the end, due to his lack of knowledge concerning demonology, and was easily coerced into agreeing to an insignificant contract. The demon allotted him ten years before he would be sentenced to an eternity in Hell—which were the worst ten years of his wretched life.
The woman he had tried so hard to hang on to gave birth to a son, Gavin McLeod. Crowley loathed the child, certain he was the offspring of the uncaring hussy and one of her many lovers. Nevertheless, he continued to uphold the broken family, deluding himself by pretending he lived the unattainable fantasy of a wholesome life—that he was still wedded to the same compassionate young woman of long ago and that they had been blessed with a healthy and admirable son. Though, he could not escape the truth and he suffered from the loneliness he had been subjected to.
Subsequent to his remaining ten years, Crowley met his demise by the tooth and claw of a hellhound, his soul forcefully dragged to Hell. Initially, he was tortured, like the majority of spirits selected to dwell in the fiery realm of the damned. The demons manipulated his despair, persuading him to surrender to his suppressed sorrow and fury and hatred toward the woman who betrayed him. The bond he shared with humanity vanished as soon as he departed his previous life, and in its place he harbored an intense dislike toward the human race.
For three hundred and eleven years, Crowley worked diligently, maneuvering upward on the demonic hierarchy. He successfully assimilated with the current lifestyle of each era, eventually growing rather fond of wealth and its rewards. His hard work paid off and he ultimately was given the title of King of the Crossroads. Creating deals with humans and obtaining their souls became a satisfactory occupation that allowed him to have some influence over the creatures he so despised.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE:
Crowley materialized before the young woman, scrutinizing her through devious brown eyes. Her hands were encrusted in dirt, the tips of her fingers red where blood had surfaced and stained the now raw flesh; the earth forcefully broken where her nails had replaced the shovel now abandoned at her feet. It was not difficult to surmise that she was desperate, the intensity of her green gaze an all to familiar expression he often saw in those who sought to engage in a business transaction. The demon was thoroughly entertained by his newest customer’s obvious pain as it pushed her closer to the brink of madness, driving her into his godforsaken territory.
She wished to restore her darling little sister’s health. Crowley had to admit that the motive behind her summoning outshined those of the tenacious individuals who fervently yearned for fame and fortune—and it increased his personal amusement tenfold. Of course, it was entertaining whenever someone was willing to exchange their soul for personal gain, though the nobler the cause, the more they pleaded, and the harder they fell; the self-sacrificing made notable torture subjects, especially when that audacity was trodden on in the fiery depths of Hell.
The demon suppressed a grin as he locked lips with the young woman, who inhaled sharply upon contact. Her body tensed, the human’s palpable dislike of their physical proximity indulging him further. He could sense the contract take form, his unseen signature on his newest piece of property binding the soul to him. Even after century upon century of sealing the deal, the transfer of a soul from one person to himself, still left Crowley with a high nothing or no one could provide him.
