NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA Ruby had staked out New Orleans after hearing about all the attacks that had happened. She knew what demon was doing all the planning on it but she also knew he never did his own handy work. Instead he always had demons under his level do it for him. Confrontation had never been his style. That didn't mean he wasn't a dangerous demon. There was a reason most didn't say no to him and those who did, well you best believe they didn't say anything after that. The main reason she had come was because she had a feeling she would find the Winchesters there. The plan she had in mind would go south if Sam Winchester were to meet his death.
It didn't take much snooping around for her to discover where the demon was hiding at. That is exactly what brought her to an old, abandoned orphanage. Ruby walked around the grounds, counting the demons that surrounded the area. There was a handful just on the outside. Before she could check the inside though, one of the guard demons snuck up on her. Her elbow went straight to the gut, a groan emitting past the mans lips. While he was bent over she took a step forward, pulled out her knife, stabbing it up into the demons throat. She watched as he light up for just a breath and then stopped. Ruby yanked her knife out and watched the body hit the floor, her eyes going from one spot to the next. Lucky for her no one noticed her around the grounds she managed to escape without too much trouble.
For a moment she was too razzeled to really think about anything but that all changed the moment she seemed to sense that Sam was close by. Within the blink of an eye she was at his hotel room, not even bothering to knock on the door. "You know it wouldn't be a good idea to go searching for this demon right? He means serious business and there is a very good chance he will kill you." she said, her hand propped up on her hips. Ruby didn't care if her just popping in like she did bothered him, she wasn't going to sit there and let him walk right into a big danger zone. "Besides he has at least a handful of demons guarding the outside and I can bet you he has even more on the inside. It would be suicide to go there. This big bad demon takes your heart but like I said thats only if you can get past his nice guards and too him." she told him. As always an annoyed look slightly crossed her face. She had tried a few times before this moment to tell them not to fight off demons that would be hard to kill and they always argued with her before storming off half cocked to off some demons. Ruby had learned to prepare herself for these stupid arguements.
Her arms moved from her hips and she crossed them over her chest, balancing her weight from one leg to the other. She just knew that the argument would probably be about how they could off the demon, she'd try to explain the danger, and they would storm off anyways. Then she'd have to pop up and make sure they didn't die. Ruby loved a fight just like the next person, she always got a rush from killing someone..well in this case something, but that didn't mean she felt like constantly doing it. Ruby stood there though, ready to at least attempt to stop them though she knew without a doubt it wouldn't work.
OOC:: it gets better as the thread goes just trust me on this.

Sam glanced plaintively out the motel window, eyes wandering over the seemingly vacant parking lot. Vivid orange beams of light bleached the interior of the room, distastefully accentuating the stains on the carpet as well as the drapes. Outside the sun gradually sunk below the horizon, the sky a multitude of colors ranging from a fiery red to a soft, velvety navy. The hunter vaguely admired the scenery, his thoughts currently focused on Dean. His brother had left roughly twenty minutes ago to pickup a bit of fast food for dinner before they embarked on their most recent expedition. Sam knew this particular hunt would be rather dangerous, and a part of him wanted to ditch the eldest Winchester in order to confront the entity responsible for the numerous murders—for ruthlessly slaughtering without a trace of remorse—and exorcise the son of a bitch himself. Though, he knew Dean would merely pursue him, and that would create more obstacles; it seemed his sibling’s life was forever at risk.
His fingers clenched about the window frame, splinters of wood and fragments of paint crumbling beneath his firm grasp. Sam inhaled, struggling to compose himself, as a fervent combination of both aggravation and utter hopelessness enveloped him. Salvaging his brother’s soul seemed to be a futile mission, though he was not prepared to concede defeat—he would not allow Dean to die so easily, considering everything they had endured for the past two and a half years; not to mention, it was Sam’s fault in the first place. The mesh of emotions fueled the fire growing within, and he anticipated meeting the demon behind the town’s steadily increasing death toll head-on. He needed to release his pent up frustration and a hunt would alleviate the tension—if only slightly. Although, he did not want to admit it, the thought of thrusting his fist into the monster’s meat suit—the feel of his flesh grazing the other upon impact—actually soothed him to an extent; which in turn, frightend him.
An eerily familiar voice cut into Sam’s train of thought. Allowing the curtains to fall back into place, the young man stepped away from the window, his green gaze resting on the woman who had brazenly encroached upon his privacy. “We’ve already settled this, Ruby,” he responded, coolly. “Is a re-visitation of this topic really necessary?” The demon habitually intervened in the Winchester’s affairs on a daily basis, attempting to coax them out of a hunt. He believed she had their best interests at heart, but her constant interference annoyed him; did she not understand that innocent people were unremittingly being killed and that this city was being traumatized by the gruesome fatalities now plaguing Louisiana? “Somebody has to get the job done and it just so happens to be us. This demon must be stopped. I don’t expect you to tag along, but just know, nothing you say will change my mind.”

Ruby walked across the hotel room, her finger tips dragging across the table near by. She knew he would say this considering this conversation was becoming a routine now. "Just out of curiosity have you noticed that pretty much every time I tell you not to go on a hunt and you go on it, I always end up having to help you. I mean I can see that small fact slipping past Dean but you are a lot smarter than he is. One day I won't get there in time and you'll die." she told him. Ruby had this feeling in her gut, which to be honest was really strange cause she didn't really feel, but still something told her that one day the boys would go against something and they wouldn't win.
She looked around the empty hotel room, leaning just a bit to peek into the bathroom. "So if this mission is so important where is your brother?" she asked, arching an eyebrow at him. Ruby was seriously running out of patients. She looked down at the floor for a moment, studying the horrific patters in the carpet, before looking back up at him. She wasn't about to waste her time arguing with him so she changed her tactics. "Okay ya know what, arguing with you is pointless. Go off and bust up in there. Get yourself killed. That is such a smart idea." she told him, giving him a dull look.
"Do you at least have a plan of some sort?" Ruby asked him. She'd witnessed a few of their hunts with her own eyes. Sometimes they actually didn't do so bad but other times it was like they had a death sentence and they wanted to die. She could see it now Winchesterbobs. Thinking on that thought she was sure some demons wouldn't mind taking a bit of them with a hint of bell peppers and onions on them. To be honest Sam was growing on her so she wouldn't let him become a human kabob, besides she needed him. Dean on the other hand, well he was the person that she wouldn't waste her spit on if he was on fire. She wouldn't let them know that though.
Ruby spun around on her heel, leaving her back to Sam as she walked over to one of the beds. She figured the one looking like a tornado had hit it was Deans and opted for the one she assumed was Sam's, plopping down on it. She crossed her legs at the ankles. "Somehow I have a feeling I'll be saving your ass once again. One of these days I'm just going to let you get it handed to you on a silver platter." she told him. "When does Dean get back anyways? I mean you are taking him with you right?" she asked. Losing Sam was a much greater risk than losing Dean, though thinking on that it might cost her to lose Sam as well. That just wasn't her cup of tea cause she needed him around.
